Get on a VPN before hopping on Tails. You should be good there.

Sure... Once you start up your PC, and Go on Tails... Get on a VPN first before you startup Tails. The VPN will hide all the activity you are doing to your ISP. Then after you get on that VPN, go on Tails and do your normal operations.

Hope that was a little more clear

Ok, let me tell you how I use tails. I run tails from USB drive, so when pc boots I hit F2, get into BIOS and select boot from UEFI USB drive. My PC OS (Windows 10 never runs). When tails is about to start ask me to setup network, admin pass, etc. Once Tails runs, asks me to "Connect to Tor", I have it configured to use a "Bridge", so I hit "Connect" and that's all, after that is just open the tor browser. So my question again is: In this process, where do I implement the VPN part? or I have to follow a different configuration / setup before that "Bridged" connection? Thanks a lot!

I don't recommend using a vpn with tor. Isp has no reason to get suspicious unless you live in certain countries. If you feel worried or if you use tor alot then I recommend using a bridge. Preferably a custom bridge that you ask for directly from Tor. You don't want a potential scum vpn company (which 98% are) to watch your data or log what you do for LE. If you do use a vpn still for whatever reason then use mullvad, riseup or calyx vpn.
Edit: or any other known and trusted vpn that us darkweb users use and not what normies use like nord vpn n such

@ /u/MaNiToBa... What clockwork said. A bridge is a better idea if you are using TAILS. Especially if you don't really know what you are doing.

Theoretically no. Basically a bridge functions much the same as a VPN or proxy would by encrypting the data and communicating with a server not listed publicly as a Tor entry node, essentially disguising your Tor traffic as regular old encrypted traffic.

Home Network ~ ISP
ISP - > Home Network

I am in my home. I have local area network. It receives Internet access from my ISP.

If I don't want to have my ISP find that I am using TOR my first hop would be a VPN.

The service provider knows you are using Tor but do not know what to do

Yes.

Say a kid has gone missing and LE suspect that it may be a convicted pedo who may have done this.

As part of the investigation, LE could request from all the service provider in the area, who was using Tor between these dates, with the intention to see who could possibly be involved in abuse of children.

This will give LE a list of people who may or may not be using Tor to engage in that disgusting stuff, those piece of shit, who I would love to shoot in the nuts and watch the cunts bleed out.

On the subject again, LE will then have a list of Tor users provided by the ISP providers in the area.

If you fit the profile or have been charged with any pedo offences, expect a 1am door kicking with armed LE very trigger happy to shoot a pedo.

You could make it on there list for any number of reason, even if its just because you use Tor, especially in isolated area's where there isnt a huge population, you may make it onto a list and even if you have nothing to do with those filthy dog cunts, you will be on a list somewhere, that you use Tor. You may be totally above board and just value privacy, but it will be recorded.

Now if you where using a VPN, paid for with crypto and a disposable email you would not make it to that list, even if LE managed to get a warrant for every VPN provider, which wouldn't be practicable.

Maybe in a city with a huge population, this wouldn't work as well but would give LE an idea of peeps using Tor but in isolated areas with small populations and only 1 or 2 service providers it does work well.

There was a scenario in Australia recently where this happened and was reported on, in the media.

No fucking worries mate

The easy solution to this problem is to buy a VPN router.

You then add your VPN providers details into it from the setup devices menu on your O/S and all your traffic on home network is going to be protected.

On occasions when you cant access a site with a VPN you just use your modem connections so your not using the VPN option.

Its a win win situation, as long as you have a VPN provider with no logs policy and is out of the 5 and 14 eyes jurisdiction.

could you tell more about it? never heard of setting up vpn directly on the router and everyone using vpn.
How could I set it up on the touter?
Pretty straight forward.

Get on Amazon or Ebay and search for a VPN router.

Make sure it supports your VPN service.

Set it up using manufactures instructions.

Very simple
