Hoping I didn't use a phishing link for eXch : Monero | Torhoo darknet markets

Hello,

I tried to exchange LTC for XMR using eXch after having had a bad experience (likely phishing) on XChange. I used the link found on monero.forex, which seemed trustworthy because it was linked on the DNM bible. The onion in question is: exchamp5qu7hdjrbktko7ccsd3zlsbjelnixpwfuxxzev4ap2eqqcfad.onion

The LTC has departed my wallet after completing 15 confirmations but the eXch page still says "Awaiting input". Should I worry?

Where'd you get that link from? I would be willing to bet you got phished. Never used this site before, but I checked tor.taxi and they have a completely different url for this site (the legit one starts with hszy). Always get your links from sources you absolutely trust.

For the bible I used the onion dnbible7sqskwppgaqohboxz7u5kzffjzdx3lxzpjtt3s6tzeiytb5ad.onion/index.html which I must have found somewhere a few weeks ago and saved in a text file. If you're right that might have been my downfall.

monero[.]forex is run by the exch/xchange phisher who has been targeting dread for the past year or so. He spreads the forex link on reddit now, along with his fake darknetbible[.]info link. He runs the /r/darknet_questions sub.

Its a phishing link. You just need to enter exch(.)cx with tor browser and at the bottom of the page there are a button "Onion" click that and you are on it

Friend, I think I got hammered by the same thing. Luckily I lost only around 100 USD. Same story ... found "monero dot forex" from a "darknet bible" that had bad links in it. "xchange dot ess bee ess" and "exch dot cash". What was wierd was that the minimum trading amount was listed on the 'how it works' page as 0.005 BTC but earlier when I input my original 0.001, it accepted it. So I guess I got scammed ... also tried the other dot-cash site to see if I could do a minimal amount. Oh well, live and learn.

A legit site would have slammed on the brakes as soon as I tried an amount below the minimum. At least that's how I would have designed it.

Hopefully I've only exposed these two wallets. The monero wallet was empty, and the BTC wallet only had just enough to try this 'exchange'. Both had been fed by a free zengo wallet which had been fed by an ATM (yes, yes, I know, another lesson learned), and the only KYC info I'd given the ATM was a phone number. I did the transaction using TAILS and over tor browser.

So I think it's galactically unlikely that this (I assume) scammer will be able to get back to anything of mine I care about. Am I right?

I'll trash these two wallets (is that even necessary?) and start over.

Same thing happened to me, thankfully it was a quite low amount as I was playing around. Funny thing happened though: I got the monero. Now I don't know what to do with it, since the amount is too low to send to any type of exchange. I'm now thinking, if I send it further, will it be traceable by the fake exchange? Would sending it to another wallet be enough?
I wonder what the risks are, when the exchange itself is compromised.
