There should be a message button in the sidebar to the right. If you are using a cell phone or something you have to click the button in the top right to open the sidebar. Alternatively just add /message/ to the end of their profile link.

What about the fact Vanguards isn't available on mobile? It leaves you identifiable, as well as the fact a cell company could very easily identify a ToR connection if there was no VPN and even help speed up the process.

Vanguard is an investment firm, and if you bought the phone with cash and an (e-)sim with cash or crypto yes a cell company will know but the don't know who's the person using Tor or the phone is.

Right but it's an additional source for deanonymization. Vanguards is an essential part of ToR for high threat risk individuals.

if you're using tor on mobile as a high threat risk individual, you're making a mistake anyway

Agreed, figured I'd ask because I noticed both Dread and Abacus have a mobile UI.

dread i understand since it's not illegal to use, idk what abacus are thinking though, i guess it's worth letting users sacrifice their opsec for some extra sales

he's referring to vanguards, it's an addon to prevent deanonymization attacks
https://blog.torproject.org/announcing-vanguards-add-onion-services/
it's primarily for services, but clients can use it too in the lite mode

Yes. Read the dnm bible twice /d/dnmbible

The only time I would recommend it is just reading sites or Dread. If you are making any nefarious purchases, I would not use anything but Linux.

I recommend encrypting all dm's and putting your pgp public key in your profile. If you don't, then consider using privnote as the messages self-destruct after they are read.
