How do I know if a vendor is coming back or not? : DNMUK | Torhoo darknet markets

Obviously you can't know, but I mean like are there any signs?

I bought something from a vendor about 10 days ago, they said they couldn't ship it but would double it after a week because they were going away for 5 days, or they would offer me a refund. Keep in mind this is a well known good vendor, not some unknown. Their message clearly stated they'd be around to check on inquires during said vacation. However they have been completely inactive in that time.

I'm starting to think they were nicked or something during their vacation, or they decided to say fuck it and give up the job. But if that's the case I don't understand why they would offer me the double or refund -- keep in mind this conversation happened AFTER they had already stopped accepting orders. Surely if they were intending to run with the money they wouldn't have spoken to me about it at all. Secondly, other people on these sites clearly got their stuff, they wouldn't just scam me and only me before running would they? Maybe their business is just taking longer/is more intense than they thought, but it all just seems a bit weird.

I'm not even mad about the money, I'm not bothered too much, but the suspense it getting at me.
