How do I purchase XMR from openmonero? : Monero | Torhoo darknet markets

How do I anonymously purchase XMR from openmonero? How would I send them the money over? Or are there better ways? I want to pay less comission to these services and improve my OPSEC.

ATM I purchase BTC from CashApp with KYC. Transfer that to my Cake Wallet. Convert it to BTC->XMR and use that XMR on the Dark Web. I don't know how secure this is but I pay roughly around 6-7% in comission to Cash App and Cake Wallet.

If I want to purchase $350 worth of XMR. $25 of that goes to these services. I want to spend as little amount of money as I can on comissions and improve my OPSEC as well.

Sure, you can use openmonero for DM purchases but I recommend a non-custodial wallet like moneroju or feather wallet to receive your coins safely. Having said that, you should use OM with a non-custodial wallet as settlement address. It is called non-custodial trade settlements.

My threat model is ordering small amounts of drugs. I don't need to go too overboard with OPSEC if I have to compensate with high comission fees or if the process in general takes a long time. I want a method that is optimal for a balance of low comission fees and decent OPSEC.

I thought XMR was untracable. How is what I'm doing now bad in any way shape or form? XMR claims to be an anonymous coin but they can still trace my purchase? I don't understand the logic at all. All they can prove is that I purchased BTC and swapped it for XMR. They can't prove the rest. Am I wrong?

FIAT>BTC is going to be expensive most anywhere. If you can figure out how to use a p2p DEX, there are some options for FIAT>altcoin. Alternatively Cake Wallet is popular FIAT>altcoin option although technically not as secure as a p2p DEX. Once you have altcoin (LTC, ETH, DOGE, pick your favorite) you can use a site like zenx-ink to swap into XMR for like ~1-2%.
