How do vendors ship packs anonymously now that USPS is changing their blue boxes? : vendor_handbook | Torhoo darknet markets

The rule used to be that whatever you can fit in the box, shipped. Now the rule is that all blue box mail has to be 1/2 inch thick or less and 10 ounces or less and they are enforcing the rule by physically changing the boxes. No more flat rate packages in blue boxes. Going into the post office and handing over packages is almost a sure fire way to get caught. Some post offices have a spot where you can just chuck a package into it but I've found those are more of the smaller town post offices.

Are vendors moving over to flat rate envelopes?

Used to be. Here is the exact copy and paste from the USPS website on the side of the list labeled "The following mail items are allowed in a USPS Collection Box":

Domestic mail (including Priority Mail Express®) weighing 10 oz. or less and measuring 1/2-inch in thickness or less (including items with online postage)

My buddy in Michigan says they are getting hit hard with these: http://dumpliwoard5qsrrsroni7bdiishealhky4snigbzfmzcquwo3kml4id.onion/image/6cab94a65f181f85.jpeg

These are the new blue boxes they are installing. They are starting with 15,000 new boxes, completely removing the old ones, and adding another 8,500 later this year.

I have used blue boxes that were previously capable of accepting packs up to 6" thick that have now been altered down to about 2.5." All the blue boxes in my area were changed in this way. So at least some vendors will be affected. In the past there were often notices about max shipping size, but as /u/notme123 said, if it fit it shipped

I think they still honor the "If it fits, it ships", but they are changing a lot of the blue boxes to go down to damn near letter size and it has nothing to do with anonymous mail though, I guess they were tired of people stealing letters using the "fishing" method so they changed the size.

I know a buddy in Michigan is saying they got hit hard with these but this is what they are looking like now in the "new" boxes: http://dumpliwoard5qsrrsroni7bdiishealhky4snigbzfmzcquwo3kml4id.onion/image/6cab94a65f181f85.jpeg

They are working on installing over 20,000 of those boxes this year alone. More next year.
