tysm
no i bought like 15 eur of btc. and i send it to my electrum wallet. so if i buy xmr on openmonero . com and i will send btc to someone
who will send me xmr, but they wont know that he send me xmr after right?
Then you recieved the $BTC in your wallet "anonymously" through TOR by using Electrum Tails.
You swapped the $BTC for XMR, and then the lead is lost after that.
With Monero you generate new addresses every time. So unless you're a big baller & law enforcement has your Monero Node compromised, theres no incentive for law enforcement to spend money catching you.
You want to make sure you get it to an offline wallet in XMR before sending it to say a DNM Vendor for an order. Exchange (BTC) --> Offline Wallet (like Electrum) on Tails OS --> Swap BTC for XMR to another wallet - like Cake Wallet on another device ---> XMR in Wallet ready to spend
You should be fine like this, if you are like a small time buyer. If you are a bigger buyer or vender, likely more needs to be done in terms of tumbling (more XMR swapping)..
I swear the longer I look at this site the worse it gets lol..... openmonero[.]com/markets just shows every single trade that's been done on the site publicly?? Talk about "anonymous". Jesus christ
Which table do you think is too much? I still can't get over how haveno.markets shows both the time and amount (XMR) for each trade, which could allow timing attacks and hurt user privacy. On the other hand, openmonero.markets doesn’t show any trade times or amounts.
obfuscation is pointless and is not the same as encryption: http://dreadytofatroptsdj6io7l3xptbet6onoyno2yv7jicoxknyazubrad.onion/post/be82f1a0c5e0f79f6dbb/#c-6904a6f8269fb60f9a
To perform a timing attack, someone needs to know the exact amount of money and when it was transferred.
For example, openmonero.markets only shows the date (no time), price (which is different from the amount withdrawn), and payment method. This information isn't helpful for timing attacks because the attacker needs to see the actual amount that was taken out of a KYC exchange. Without knowing the specific amount, they can't link it to a trade on another exchange. Since this crucial information isn't visible publicly on openmonero.markets, such an attack isn't possible.
The XMR you spend afterwards is though.
If I was in your position, Then I would calm the Fuck Down because I have nothing to worry about.
