Not sure what to say here. Are you asking for ...yourself? I think (hope) most everyone here will tell you not to try that, for harm-reduction purposes at least. A few things I do feel comfortable saying: I've looked into why opiates aren't used for lethal injection executions, and the main reason (or a major reason at least) is that it's inconsistent, and people can have widely different tolerances. So maybe consider it unreliable. I agree it might seem like a painless experience, but I have occasionally taken more than I would have liked and actually felt dysphoric, nauseous, had to lay down. I've also shot up, untied tourniquet, put some things away, and then suddenly woken up on the floor with my neck in a weird position, and a bent syringe in my leg, and a bad headache. I'm pretty sure a headache is one of the signs that your brain hasn't gotten enough oxygen, so maybe I could imagine someone ODs, passes out for 8-10 minutes, respiratory depression, but when they wake up now they've suffered permanent brain damage. So there are two reasons not to at least: unreliable & possible unintended consequences.
I know how you feel. I've considered that too, but you should still try to find every other avenue you can think of before considering this one. Talk to friends, family, doctors, therapists, coworkers, dread users. Fuck, maybe just using heroin will make things seem more bearable. I hope this is helpful. I'm sorry if you're feeling bad. I'm sure a couple ppl here would be willing to talk if you want to (myself included). Be safe.

Heroin OD is the same as any opiate OD. Affects the body the same regardless of type of opiate. I saved someone from a Fentanyl OD. Dude was a daily H user. He scored some fent and like an idiot he did a line like it was cocaine. For about 5 minutes he was upbeat and happy, then he got a look in his face like he was gonna puke. He couldn't talk and then he tried to stand up and walk and he just fell over and was out. I called 911 and they saved him. He didn't remember anything. Didn't seem painful.

With that all said sometimes I get depressed and think I would be better off dead, then I think about how my family would feel and it snaps me out of it. Suicide ends your pain but gives much more to those who love you. Its extremely selfish. Life is like Chinese food, its sweet and sour.

Even without looking at your post history, you cant be surprised that your accused of trolling with a question like that.

The people ive talked to about overdosing basically said they nodded off and were awoken when someone narcaned them. Most didnt remember what happened but a few had descriptions that werent negative. i dont want to use positive words when we're potentially talking about suicide. If I was going to kill myself yeah i'd probably just mix up a shot of heroin/fentanyl I knew was too much.

That said if you really are suicidal please ask for help. I had friends that checked out, and I fucking miss them. When you kill yourself that pain doesnt disappear, it just gets transfered to the people that cared about you. Find something to live for. Anything.

Fentanyl is not painful, it's going to be the same as any opioid just stronger. And it's not any more "poison" than any other opioid, it just takes a lower dose. "The poison makes the dose." Water is poisonous in large enough doses. Literally anything is. You can eat 10mg of potassium cyanide and not die, but it is a "poison." Once you have been getting fentanyl, your tolerance rises to a level that you then need it, and it's really no different than someone with a lower tolerance doing heroin or another weaker opioid, other than duration of effects being different (fentanyl being shorter by a lot.) But no, it's anything but painful, it's just another opioid. It gets a bad rap because when people aren't aware they are doing fentanyl they can overdose because they take too high of a dose. If you knew you had 100% pure fentanyl you would simply do a lower dose than if you had heroin.

Idk if you're looking for attention, but the questions you're asking are pretty cringey tbh. Nobody who is serious about killing themselves asks questions like this, they go out and do it. Why would you even need to ask if you were serious? You'd just go shoot some heroin, and if it works it works, if not then you just get high. The only reason someone would ask this question and be serious is if they were trying to use it to kill someone else maybe, but I doubt that is the case here. I've dealt with so many people who either hint or directly talk about suicide like this and are never serious, it seems they get off on people giving them attention and feeling bad for them and saying "aw don't kill yourself, you're so important blah blah blah." Not playing into that stupid game, sorry. Been around too long and dealt with too many people like that, it's not cool it's just really cringy and gives me secondhand embarrassment for you. You know damn well nobody here is going to give you instructions or otherwise help you kill yourself. The only way anyone would entertain these dumb questions is if you were terminally ill and were facing a painful and incurable disease that is certainly going to take your life anyways, however if that was the case 1 - you would have likely said so, and 2 - as I said above, if you were serious about wanting to die via heroin you would get some heroin and do it. It's not like using a gun where if you fail you could blow your face off and be far worse off than you were, if you fail you get high (unless you actually overdosed and were found and brought back with narcan, then you very well could have brain damage from lack of oxygen to the brain for a period of time, and be a vegetable the rest of your life) so it's not without its risks, though a serious attempt would mean doing it where nobody would find you until it was well past the point of being able to do anything to save you. If someone is likely to find you, it doesn't really matter how much you do, enough narcan will get you out of it. You're not serious, so stop. If you are serious, call a hotline or talk to someone who cares about you in your life. Or go do some drugs and numb your pain. It's not the best solution but it's better than your loved ones finding you dead. Again, I'm really curious how old you are. You don't sound like an adult with life experience based on the questions you ask. So if you did kill yourself who's going to find you, your mother or father? That's real nice.
