How to pay for Haveno security deposit (for creating an offer to buy XMR) without already having Monero? : Monero | Torhoo darknet markets

I have Haveno, my wallet, my payment accounts and everything else set up, and I'm trying to buy some Monero. But I do not know how to pay the security deposit (needed to create an offer) without already having Monero on hand. I don't see any option to pay with fiat, so how am I supposed to buy monero if I'm starting from scratch?

Join the reto SimpleX group and ask someone to make a deposit-less offer and for the password

"For newbies who want to buy their first XMR and do not yet have XMR for security deposit, Haveno allows selling no-deposit offers limited up to 1.5 XMR."

I think the closest thing you can do without any XMR is to ask someone to set up an offer without a buyer deposit (never done it myself but I think they create a pass phrase and then give you the pass phrase).

If you happen to have btc you could buy xmr on Bisq and then use Haveno.
Otherwise do like /u/cognac said.
