I’m with you on this, things really need to change. As a vendor, I’m so tired of having to start from zero over and over and watching my money disappear in a split second. We’re sick of seeing customers get robbed and lose their favorite vendors.
Things need to change, and there also needs to be a closer connection between customers and vendors so that no matter what happens, DDoS, exit scam, or seizure, everyone can stay in contact!

We'll start a decentralized market that will fix all the problems you listed. I'm sick of LE shutting down markets and markets exit scamming to. All that should be a thing of the past. As a vendor I'm sure all of that puts a big strain on you and you deserve better. We should start a decentralized market mandate so everyone can work towards this goal.

Work hasn't started on this yet I just saw how bad things are getting so I wanted to start this up. I think I will start the decentralized market mandate now and then start work on it. We need as many people on dread and the darknet to join this cause if we want it to succeed.

Maybe we get vendors to sign the mandate as a sign of interest so we can gather more support to make a decentralized market happen. Then vendors and other reputable people in the darknet can contribute in different ways to making a decentralized market happen.

Thanks for wanting to join the cause. I'll start the mandate soon and when I do I'll dm you and you can sign it. We'll gather everyone in the darknet together and make the first decentralized marketplace happen. We need to be the change we want to see. We will make the darknet evolve. All the exit scams and LE taking down markets is in the past from now on we will push for a decentralized marketplace.

There is definitely a great incentive to solve these problems. No doubt about that. The people who figure it out and create the 'next generation' platform will clean house and force all the other platforms to follow in their footsteps.

I think the issue is not that people don't realize the potential payout and opportunity, but rather the task of creating something novel that solves all the problems is a massive and challenging task.

Not much has really changed in how things work since Silk Road. This could be because the incentive to leave exit-scam option open for market developers is attractive for the developers themselves. At any point they can hit eject and it comes with a big bonus payout.

The exit scam is really only an issue for customers, it's a power move for the market owners/admin and almost like insurance in a way.

There would somehow have to be more incentive for developers to remove that 'loop-hole' than there is incentive in potential exit-scam payout.

Yes it's a big challenging task and that is surely making people not want to attempt it. Your view that exit scamming is seen as a lucrative incentive by admins and darknet developers is accurate. That's why I think we should move power in darknets away from these admins and place it more in the hands of the users and vendors this would result in better decentralization and fix the exit scamming problems. Place the incentive with the users for actually using the platform and the vendors for supplying the goods. Then there will be no more to gain by exit scamming and that problem will be solved.

Before Archetyp fell, Supermarket fiasco was I think the last big happening of this nature so there was a whole year of relative peace. And even then, I think it was DH that stepped in to help clean it all up so it didn't even end that bad for people.

I don't think we can stop or outperform the free market system we have now. Moving the huge volume of drugs and digital products on the DN will always be an illegal business and disruptions are inevitable. The first thing the vendor's handbook says is: "You have to know when to stop," and this goes double for the markets

People will see an opportunity in the present situation. A lot of hustles, wannabes and gifted retards will be active with market schemes, and there may even be some people with serious human capital to make some solid new markets. Many lesser markets here will also have a chance to step up and fill the void.

In the meantime we will all hustle around and make our connections. Happy 4 of July

That is the way it was in the past but now we can make a change it's time for an evolution of the darknets. Since Silk Road launched years ago we've basically been doing the same thing and haven't changed enough to outpace LE hunting us. It's time for an evolution so LE can't easily take us down anymore. It's time for a decentralized market.

It’s very hard to implement XMR multisig, and even on the few markets that do like Dark Matter almost no one actually uses or understands it.

It’s already hard enough just to get people to use PGP on orders, and not rely on markets to auto encrypt.

Plus, if admins ever want to exit scam, they can just change the multisig wallets to their own addresses.

Sure, any orders already locked in proper multisig would be safe, but all new orders could go straight to the admins’ wallets if they made that change, and there’s no way for us to know if or when they do.
