i hope my visions dont count as FUD because... : CafeDread | Torhoo darknet markets

i hope my visions dont count as FUD. Dont read this if youre easily influenced because im about to say something.

ive had really bad intuition around abacus market recently for the past 5-7 days, a few days after archetyp bust. not saying that theyre related.

its like i see a black cloud of dark energy on the abacus site, and i swear i "see" the illuminati in the abacus logo but its not actually there, its hard to explain, but I really get a bad gut feeling around that site especially lately when i went on it. I dont wanna sound schizo but I also dont want people to read this and stop using the site because this is not solid data. It feels cold and lifeless and there is something weirdly predatory about the vibe of the market lately not like in the child predator or financial predator sense but its like they will break down your morality and sense of self its really weird i hope you guys are understanding me its not a good feeling

in case this actually means something i really wanted to say something i really wish i couldve came with data and not just feelings and intuition but if anyone has data to back this because the vibes are really really off and no its not just because of their lame UI its something else

i really apologize to the Abacus staff that reads this and gets hurt thats not my intention and im not even spreading FUD

They are an old market and lets just be real here .. that market is hard to use and overall just ugly as fuck. That said , its a relic and markets have expiration dates . YGW was a better admin and held a better market than /u/vito and his market, the police are most likely closing in on it .
holy godman, thought id never see the day you say something positive.

I was afraid it was just me. yes it looks horrible. its frustrating and mentally taxing to use.

I've had an off feeling about them for a while but especially since arch went down. they definitely have a target on them I feel.

I didnt want to use it cos it was the next biggest market - ripe for an exit wih all the arch refugees

drughug run by exit scammers and bad energy around them

theo nly one i might use is darkmatter but still its too early to put any coin on any site

find ur vendors and direct deal on their private pages

I do agree darkmatter > drughub but can we stop acting like drughub is on the same level of bs as alphabay v2 where it was made just with the intent to steal people's money by capitalizing on the market name

WHM was still a more honorable exit than 98% of market exits but people aren't ready for that conversation because they put trust in an escrow system where the admin said he didn't know how long it would be up

the second you start trusting people on here you have fucked up
I would listen to this person.

yup same thing with me, gives me a very bad vibe (without the means of spreading any FUD), i dont know if its because its off-date look and me being used to arche or just my gut feeling... hope it all turns well tho...

I have a few goto trusted vendors, and since Arch went down in flames I use their private stores. The links are usually posted on their discussion threads. The Asteria store in particular have great interfaces. I recognize that this may be an unpopular opinion.

And what's the deal with the bitcoin option on Abacus? It doesn't sound like a good idea, especially as buyers may seek out those who accept BTC, and those vendors are likely to be uncareful. At least Abacus doesn't allow fent, or at least products described as fent.

Will check out Darkmatter. For me, new markets may be the better way to go given that some feel (not know!) that Abacus could be the next to go.
/u/Phobos36 I will always listen to this person.

Everyone can have their own ideas on it but to only rely on intuition and emotional impressions, rather than hard evidence, to assess risk, isn't the best thing to do. Having said that, even without facts, you should always be careful during service interruptions such as these.
Fair, but I've seen way too much circumstantial evidence in the last week to believe otherwise.

it seems only BTC are effected is effected

they'd definitely stop Monero withdraws if it was a exit scam, not bitcoin. or they'd do both.

Usually it goes like Market is very quiet, after a shutdown of another big market. Then all the big vendors mysteriously stop processing orders or even go on vacation mode.
Sometimes they might ask if you have any alternative contact information "just in case"

Then there are issues with deposits or withdrawals not being recognized or lagging independent of issues with the BTC or XMR blockchain itself, there doesn't seem to be any right now.

Seems the market is preparing to shut down sometime soon.

Also /u/Vito never showed up to the Admin rollcall by Hug a while ago.

/post/393c202c0cd7764ea31d

GG Abacus
i still think its way to early to say anything, its only the BTC that's effected, i have no way to verify that but dontlaugh i'm assuming verified it when he said it in the Megathread.

and the links work again. so nothing for certain, anyone saying it is is spreading FUD IMO. is it suspicious? yes, but nothing for certain.

what makes me feel better is that its BTC effected, not Monero. they'd definitely stop Monero withdraws if it was a exit scam, not bitcoin. or they'd do both.

Hug said Vito actually did show up to the roll call under another account. So what I said was false and I apologize for that mistake. A few links work right now, I was able to sign in.
You make a good point though about only BTC being affected otherwise they'd suspend withdraws of both coins.
People say private mirrors are working just fine right now. I think right now their system is sluggish, just need to bring things up to speed.

/u/Tre XMR withdrawal came through after 10+ hours, I don't know if his private link is still working, I'm going to guess it is.
But people are now saying BTC and XMR are slow now.

No my private link is down as of 2 hours ago. Staff may be manually be approving withdraws, its hard to tell at this point. My very small XMR withdraw did come through though, it just took a long time.

If there was any suspicion "whoisteam" was LE it should be confirmed now based on their previous posts.

What does whoisteam have to do with Abacus?
/u/Tre

Well they basically said any market that accepts BTC will be seized. It could be BS and its way early to tell but if some scenario like that plays out IDGAF what anyone says they are LE
/u/oopsidontknow

If a market accepts BTC, their expected lifetime is usually less than 5 years, but that already seems to be factored in with Abacus right now. I still think LE just messed with the crypto server to get their way in and other things are being shut down right now in an attempt to fix some things. I don't think the market will bounce back from this for a while though.

Could be but, I guess everyone's favorite indicator for exits or seizures is their favorite oracle vendor who conveniently knows when the market will shut down. That seems to be the case here too

Yeah i don't care for abacus either and im reluctant to support them in anyway shape or form. Not so much their "energy" as it is their "policies"

Regardless, if they do go it wont hurt my feelings at all but for some reason i doubt they are going anywhere within the next several months anyway. As always time will tell.
i know exacly that your talking about.

feel the exact same way about their "policies"
