If they allow it, wouldn't they be letting in compromised accounts? I don't see it happening, unless you have some long standing relationship with admin who can verify it is you through some personal methods.

You have to understand that law enforcement could do the same thing and compromise user accounts. This is the point of the mnemonic/username. You can open as many ticket as you like but I do not think they will do what you are asking. If you are doing business accept the loss and do better next time.
