I doubt it is an exit as Arch is a longstanding market with good reputation. I haven't seen anything so weird as this happening before, but they have suffered through several DDOS attacks during their time online. Last year they had a DDOS which disabled them for a few days.
Hey, yesterday i was placing an order and after i deposit monero for the deal i ended up being kicked out of the site and couldnt reconect. I see it was a common problem yesterday. My issue is that when i was finally able to login today the order was canceled. The monero is in my Archetyp Wallet but now i cant pay for the order with the wallet money. Anyone here can explain to me how i do that? When i go to the order payment it asks me to deposit the monero again, even tho i have enough in the website wallet.
this only affects buyers, but we now block your withdrawals from the market, if you have
- a cancelled order that is younger than 10 days
- a deposit that's younger than 10 days
- changed your pin / password / pgp public key within the last 10 days
On every withdrawal, you start with the score: 0
-> Changed PIN / Password recently? +1
-> Changed PGP Public Key? +1
-> Cancelled order? +1
-> Recent deposit? +1
-> Suspicious account? +1
If your score is 2 or higher, we block your withdrawal.
Pros:
- prevents phishing hopefully greatly
Cons:
- looks like an exit-scam
- annoys customers who have brains just to help customers without brain (these who get phished)
If you withdraw to an address you have used before, the withdraw will work without any time block
They are to combat phishing as the current way of phishing is to steal credentials and then try to withdraw from Archetyp. (Credentials can also be stolen from other markets if you re-use the same data all over)
You will be able to withdraw your funds to your wallet in 5 days.
That's clever. Does it send a message explaining why the withdrawl is blocked?
"We have reason to believe your account may have been compromised. Please give us 5 days to confirm. Your crypto is safe in your market wallet until then."
It doesn't look like an exit scam if you're not blocking Vendor withdrawals.

Im sorry if its a stupid question, but how do they login and potentially steal the money if the account is protected by PGP 2FA? Who cares if the phisher got a login and a pw?
How would it know whether or not to show the 2FA message in the first place? And wouldn't you need their public key to decrypt? Seems like a lot of assumptions needed to be known about the account which makes it seems very unlikely
Always use pgp to encrypt your shipping info. If you lose your pgp private key and have 2-FA enabled you will lose access to your account. Be sure to make a backup of your pgp key pair to a safe place.

New to dread but not the markets. You're panicking over nothing, it's a DDOS and they're doing all they can to protect everyone using the site. It's frustrating that it isn't working the way you're used to all of a sudden, but it's better than the alternative. It's not an exit scam.
Time is running , we are already close - those who are trying, wait, we need a little more time, if there is anyone else, join in, it will be fun, we will crush this hydra)
It's not just a ddos the admins have been on here posting it wouldn't go on this long if it's an exit lived though about 4 of them here's how an exit usuallyplays out
1 incoming funds come in and half or all withdrawals are blocked usually
2 the site and all admins are ghost
3 site is straight up gone not like how it is now with it working still and with constant admin updates they are hard at work trying to restore the market 100% it's soo big right now they are making too much money from it to just up and leave plus I believe it's been on soo long it's like their baby I saw a post where they said they plan to go for atleast 3 more years and see how they feel then about retirement and that he wouldn't sell the market if the right buyer was found with makes me belive it's personal to them they made by far one of the best and biggest markets out there i don't see it going anywhere unless the risk starts to outweigh the reward and even then I belive there will be 30 days or so grace period for people to finish orders and wd their cash
