It depends on what it is and how valuable the information is. For instance Nvidia got hacked a few weeks ago.

The hackers got away with source code for their DLSShich is a machine learning model that upscales games without additional cost to the GPU.

This imo is valuable but with that being said, you really couldn't do anything with it other than for personal use. If you started to use it in your product and it gets found out you could be implicated.
It might even be so recognizable that you couldn't reverse engineer it enough as to make it seem like it isn't Nvidia source code.
