I wrote an in-depth guide for linux beginners. : OpSec | Torhoo darknet markets
I wrote this full-length guide to kinda ease people into using Linux and refining their OPSEC.
In the guide I talk about almost all basic things, from what shells and terminals are to systemd to SSH.
I also give some OPSEC advice and point out important things one might not know when starting out.
The following are some of the topics discussed in the guide:
1. Why Linux?
2. What's a Shell?
3. The Linux Filesystem and how to navigate it.
4. Command line basics
5. apt basics
6. File permissions, what they mean, how to change them.
7. Systemd
8. Using and configuring sudo
9. Creating and deleting users
10. Logging and how to clear logs (and why you probably shouldn't)
11. Setting up an SSH server
12. Using Rsync
13. Automating syncing files using systemd and ssh
And a bit more. I had a blast writing this and I hope you find it helpful.
You can read it here: http://blog.nowherejezfoltodf4jiyl6r56jnzintap5vyjlia7fkirfsnfizflqd.onion/opsec/linuxbasics/
P.S: Yes, this is from the OPSEC Bible as many might know, and I made a separate post because this was added after nihilist1 made his post and also because I believe beginners should absolutely read this. I'm pretty excited to say I'll be contributing more to this amazing project.
edit: I'll have to mention, everything I've written is 100% human-made. No AI bullshit like some people here (you know who you are mate).
As always, any criticism about my writing is appreciated. Thank you for taking the time.
bleak.
Thank you!
Cheers!
