If a pack never lands and theres no faith in it ever updating movement from a distro hub, What do you do? : DarkNetMarkets | Torhoo darknet markets

Pack stuck at a hub since the 17th of this month. I extended the escrow auto finalize last week and shipper has no providable help. Contacted vendor already. Does this constitute a reship... or disputing order? (domestic)

A reship will depend on the vendor's reshipping policy. Assuming this is USPS, packs get stuck at distro hubs for weeks sometimes. Was it a large amount or a personal amount?

it was a small personal amount. so its normal? i never had one sit like this before.

What happened with your order bro? mine was supposed to be here a couple days ago but it hasn't updated from "in transit to next facility" for 5 days. Hasn't changed at all since it departed the original shipping post office. Any luck on your end?

Sadly Abacus went down and the vendor doesn't have a dread so I cant even talk to him about it rn lol.

My shit just never arrived. Not a single scan or update since I made this post. Really fucking mad. I made another order over the weekend as a backup plan... and despite it arriving to my local hub, it got scanned at another PO two towns away. I've literally never seen that happen before in all my years. USPS is either really incompetant or theres trouble afoot.

Sometimes the USPS just moves slow. Do you have Informed Delivery setup for the destination address? You can check it on there.

Thats true. Get this... It showed on ID all through the process from being received to arriving to my local distro and showed it was expected to be delivered at latest the 19th. Then after the weekend passed, its not even showing up on ID like it was. Though tracking it shows it's still at a ditro not too far away. But no longer on my ID. isnt that weird?

It is weird but I have had something similar in the past. I've noticed a definite downhill experience with the USPS in the past 3-4 years. They're getting slower and they're losing more and more shit. But overall, they still operate on like a 99.5% delivery rate and something like a 97% when it comes to expected delivery times. They move almost a billion items a week without blinking an eye.

It just sucks when you're the 2-3%.

yup. I never fell into that 2-3% before so kinda adjusting on the fly. Thanks for the reassurances. Just sucks when its not something you want but something you NEED.

it's now day 11 since it first appeared in my ID and was received by usps. i'm going to wait until next week and then reach out to vendor i guess. just sucks how it's been at this one center for over a week now and still no movement. i'm beginning to think it's been stolen because how the fuck does a package sit for 7 whole days there when they're constantly sending bins out even on sundays.

Check the usps complaints sub on reddit, and search for the distro location it is, tons of people have reported various distro centers in the US basically being black holes for mail. It could have been caught up in that who knows - generally if it is put into the mailstream domestically its on the way and will eventually get to you unless the package just gets destroyed beyond deliverability, which doesn't happen as often with package mail vs letter mail or envelopes.

its going to be in a sealed package not snail mail so hopefully that means it's not stolen or lost altogether. I checked usps complaints and people do say some bad things about this distro as its infamous for thefts (along with like 10 other major metro distro facilities nationwide). Its kind of crazy how it got so close to me and then routed away and now stuck there.

Do nothing pack-side. Take it up with the vendor.

1 more week, then contact the vendor and find a resolution

okay i'll do exactly that. Thank you
Would give it another few days to see if there's any movement. And if it may be a post office issue which means the vendor has no control over it at that point...

once I had a pack do nothing in a distro hub for a week, then it randomly updated that it was sent to the other side of the country. it eventually made it's way to me. shit happens.

Mine got sucked into a black hole 57 days ago, but i'm not worried, USPS says: "Your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility." 😆😆

it should say "your package had poor stealth, poorly sealed so it fell out at a sorting facility. luckily the guy operating the sorting machine is a druggie so he took it home with him!"

Not the only reason. As stated above, read r/usps_complaints, tons of people are having issues, not just packs from the DN. End of April was very much a shit show, multiply distro centers just stopped scanning and moving stuff along. This pack was from a very trusted and reliable vendor.
