If it is LE,then why they don't put the banner "this site has been siezed" : Archetyp | Torhoo darknet markets

what is the point of loading the maintenance page all the time.
And also, why do they allow the auto-withdrawal funds to the vendors?
it is a strange situation dont u think?

Honeypot man... why do that if you can take a stab at vendors/buyers as well. Put it in the kinda obvious when you think about it category.

Auto-withdrawal stopped working when the website went down. My money is stuck on the site and buyers got their products.

Simple; they wanted to run the market for awhile to bust vendors/big buyers but I don't know how successful that operation would've been. I'm pretty sure Arch used to not even allow you to put shipping details in without PGP, it wouldn't even let you submit them, but I could be wrong. Never done it.

But they would take over as BigBoss and form relationships, watch all the transactions happening, nab anyone who doesn't use PGP, and just try to take the crew down with the whole ship. We'll see what they plan to do now.

Maybe they used to do that, but now they just encrypt it for you. Some other guy I was speaking to about this whole situation raised a good point; LE can change the PGP keys that the website displays to their own ones. This results in the following:
1. You place your order with LE's PGP key
2. LE decrypts it, gets your information.
3. LE re-encypts your information with the real PGP key of the vendor
4. LE forwards that to the vendor.

If its LE, for archetyp to go down it has to be a huge LE, therfore other markets or private vendors will go down through back ends, if this is the case the banner will be put only when they finished the operation, i don't consider the chance if this being a seizure becouse if you seize such a big website, shutting it down is a stupid solution as you now running the website can collect a lot of information therfore i believe this is an internal problem!

Wrong. If it was seized by LE they'd let the site continue as normal for some time to gather as much information on the vendors as possible. It's much more likely BigBoss has DONE ONE.
