I'm at a point where deciding what to do next isn't flat out simple like it used to be. I'm sure many of you had been at these crossroads and have the beauty of hindsight at 20/20. However I am not sure which path to take. I took way to much Tramadol this weekend, so much that knowing now what I didn't know then, it's a miracle that I'm able to type this today.
I'm in the situation most people are these days. Chronic pain had me on pain meds. I found that I loved the feeling in my whole body, not just being in less pain. It was very soon after that I started chasing the high as well as taking the meds for pain. Opps, don't have enough left to get me to the end of the month. No biggie, just call one of the many people who sells their extras. Until the "Opioid Epidemic" Everyone's meds dried up. I went from 90 10/325mg Norco's a month to 30 10mg Tramadol. If you were lucky enough to find someone selling their meds, plan on paying top dollar. Price has gone from $4-$12 each for 10s to at least $10 but usually closer to $15.

Got my first order this week. I went with Tramadol because I had a script for it, so blood and urine would be fine, and because it was a lot less money. Not to mention that, in my smart brain, since they took all the evil opioids away and my doctor had prescribe this medicine , that this was safer.
Yeah no and yes I flushed the ones I still had. Now to bring this novel back to where it started. Since I like [i] Norco[/] I should try_____. What would you recommend to try? I usually do 40mg Norco and then 10mg every hour or two until I nod off. (yeah I redose all the time. My buzz starts to dip even for a second and I take more) Cost and effectiveness are what I'm thinking when looking. I started looking into Tapentadol but am not sure how good it's going to be. Especially since I have no self-control. Drinking is just as bad. I no longer buy fifths, because I keep drinking until I pass out or the bottle is gone. :-/

Tapentadol is REALLY similar to tramadol, if you dig out on some papers, you will see the way it acts (chemically speaking) is similar, but you won't have the same risks like Tramadol.
Just FYI: if you take any AD, then you need to avoid tapentadol. Avoid ordering from India, IMO it's too risk, but maybe ordering from USA is OK, ask around. Otherwise I've seen some in UK, UK to USA should be somewhat ok?
Tilidine is really the best alternative. It least longer than tapentadol, good euphoria and great for pain killer effect as well.
Still didn't get why you don't switch to codeine - you can get it cheap and safe in USA, and if you use some potentiators, you will get a great high and keep your pain under control. Without risks for compulsive redose.
Actually if you get compulsive redose issues, you should have a drugs keeper. He/She keeps your stuff and give you only each 7 days your stuff that you agree before. in that way you will learn to self-manage yourself, knowing if you take all you got the first 2 days, the rest of the week you are fucked and must do WD :D It works, I managed to keep my oxy usage under control in this way.
