Every once in a while, you will find overpriced crystal tableware on craigslist and other marketplace sites. Simply message the seller and ask them how they determine the price. Do they weigh it...etc. Play, dumb, naïve, doing some decorating because folks are coming over on the weekend. You know the legitimate answer vs somebody who's got pretty quickly. Similar thing when looking for a working girl. look for overpriced underwear, bikinis, and so forth with very hot women like too hot for where you live. Like anything if it's too good to be true then it is or it's something else...

Also, you could try a party. At least what we called it back in the days of underground raves and such. almost guaranteed to find somebody that has something. just make friends with anybody with a pacifier or so geeked out they're chewing their cheeks they could be on ecstasy or combination and if you were able to find the dealer, they probably have it or know somebody who does.

just, like, meet people? make friends? Most people are only a few degrees from a meth user (once met some 16 year old at a bus stop, got talking, turns out their dad uses, next thing I know I've got a friend), and once you find one make friends with their friends. If (or when) your first friendship, you'll have other friendships as a backup.

I think some headshops have deals with dealers where they tip a dealer off if someone bought an oil burner and they approach you as you are leaving the headshop. Happened to me once.

You can even size up the shopkeeper and be like yeah I know I've been meaning to taper down, but it's hard to find somebody that has anything quality that will let me do that comfortably.
