Asap a few months ago didn't exit scam, they warned all , buyers and vendors to withdraw all the funds with time enough for all , so there are still honest people around . I know mos t of them did it but why not point the few that didn't. If they did othets could do like them the honest and right way.

Same happebed with me but im waiting on something /u/exclusivepharma was sending personally for me but need to get in touch and /u/chillparma sent my etiz but not the b707 bars to test or the white bromaz my mate likes from them.

They good though an anytime isssue in the past which is very rare they sort it, but i cant get in touch with them anywhere as no other markets showing on dark dot fail.

Im only ordering domestic from now on.

Vendor Pharmstate from slovenia got stuff to me in 4 days but I ordered 6 boxes of triazolam and got 3 boxes worth, same with the 4 bozes of pfizer abd the 5mg npam nitrazepam, 180 ksalol but 120 came.

So not selective scammer but send enough that your not going to dispute a foreign vendor over all this to get told 50/50 or something.

I love my nitraz and triazolam and they were good, so were the footballs etc but doing that is out of order even though they sebt some theb just ignored messges after it, didnt even bother disputing. I just finalized and warned people and ive noticed its happened to more people with that vendor since then.

Im sticking with uk when i find socialpharma etc and speak to the two prior i messaged until monday. With vendors saying they cant send out messages there is no point going on there going to find them.

No new market showing on dark dot fail. exclusive is on here but dont think chilllpharma or social are on here.

Theres hundreds of vendors with tons stock, they must be somewhere

Guessing this was some scammer, I got my usual vendors on another market just a couple had decided to stay away from them completely after years of them being on them but gave official ways to reach them. No other scammer has to reach out to me to pretend to help.

Lol I had one dude in jobs for crypto asking me if i could move exotic animals and birds of prey through courier service and was offering half money upfront lmao if i showed proof I had the driver or the van as courier myself.

I asked what ones, he said exotic and the ones that fly are birds. Never replied after I read that. sounded dodgy lol

I would check for you as been trying to get on for ages pal but it is just not loading for me at all, every other market or forum working fast and its not marked as under construction but before it kept saying error no data when got so far now its saying problem finding onion site like what incognito used to keep doing. I tried daunt.cc but same link and just didnt load at all. Did get as far as the circles one time i have no idea wahat is going on an i need to check something . Im sure i hear superwave is on that new supermarket thing d/supermarket, just type it in search.

With archytype you can select by vendor and it has a big list rather than manual search but ffs no idea whats going on.

Totally second that. I mean, I'm just a vanilla consumer who orders small amounts of this and that for occasional use, and I'm sure that running a DNM is one heck of a job for opsec alone - and then some. But what do you actually run into when you have a platform running? I really have no idea what kind of people suddenly become "interested" in you, and I'd really dig "A day in the life of HugBunter" just to get an idea of all that's happening behind the scenery.

But I'd still be naive/idealist enough to assume that it's possible to be a proper web development nerd, code your platform, gather a few people for everyday operations, and then make it all about the platform rather than a continuous quest to become world's most butthurt anon.

I truly appreciate every and any market, vendor etc. who just retires gracefully when it's time.

WHM was a perfect example, and while MrWhite wasn't the nicest person to interact with, he definitely had integrity. That'd be something I'd aspire if I were to start my own marketplace.

As of know, it appears that Archetyp might be one of the good ones, run by nerds not wannabe gangsters. I just hope they don't let their success get over their heads.

We also had issues with a large withdrawal last week. Around $6,000 is still pending. And a fake transaction ID was sent which does not appear on the BTC blockchain. Support have been replying but fobbing us off.

Messaging system has been unable to send messages to customers nor support past couple of days.

Unable to put account in vacation mode.

Unable to set listings OOS.

All functionality to edit listing description, put accounts offline, or prevent customers from being able to order have been removed from the vendor admin panel.

We are not taking orders. We will not ship any new orders which have not been marked shipped. DO NOT ORDER!!!

It's interesting that he used the whole stablecoin DAI addition as a ruse to buy time. It seemed a little excessive if the end goal was just to exit scam. He wasn't content with just shutting off withdraws and disappearing quietly into the night with the loot of every vendor's escrow balance. He had to invent the very ambitious and fakely generous DAI adoption so he could continue to string everyone along by providing a plausible basis (complications with the stablecoin implementation) for buyers to continue making their deposits and vendors continuing to vend despite not being able to withdraw their funds to try and milk their patrons for every last drop.

But yeah the reasons given never made any sense beginning with the shutting off of PMs (I was told it was to prevent scamming, too many scammers initiating PMs with buyers so buyers could only initiate PMs with vendors, which made zero sense not to mention being a flat out lie when as a buyer I was unable to initiate a PM with anyone) before withdraws started showing fake txids. The most they could reasonably expect from such bullshit reasoning is to milk it for a few days max IMO. Fortunately phoraoh couldn't help but give away the game plan behind his long planned bullshit stablecoin ruse in a pique of greed.

I almost didn't respond to this, because it is borderline ridiculous. This must be what it feels like to be /u/hugbunter lmao.

No one, including me, can tell 100% if an exit scam is happening, except for the admin(s) doing said exit scam.
Until it was confirmed by Hug, I was not 100% sure, however yes the "database deadlock" comment raised numerous alarms for me.
That still doesn't mean I'm going to create a post with all CAPS screaming about how I think they're lying about having a deadlock. At the time there were about 4 posts warning users to get out. I didn't think we needed another one, especially because I was not 100% sure.

I'm assuming you lost money from the exit, and that is awful. I feel for you, I do. It's shitty.

Not for anyone who lives in the USA - market CRAWLS on a good day, can barely browse for goods at all, extremely difficult to use even when it isn't being shut down by a DDOS. While I have not been scammed by this market, i find it extremely unusable overall merely due to the lagginess of the whole time. I'll die before I finish even browsing the listings.

Gotcha, my bad. I think every market I listed had a subdread which in my eyes makes them "valid", but perhaps that wasn't accurate - it's not a big deal but perhaps some feedback for mods is that if you're going to delete peoples comments it might help to tell them why or have a feature for only the original user to see the original commment so at least there's some sort of feedback around what wasn't allowed, otherwise I may very well do the same thing again without even realizing it wasn't allowed. No hard feelings, i'm sure it wasn't that important I just try to share the info I have.

I am one of them, I discovered this place after trying to by on cocorico that is not closed and was wondering why seller is not shipping. So I learned to check markets before sending my coins.
Just the day I made an account on incognito I read here that there were issues. You all saved me an other loss.

WOW crazy how well timed the exit was to the most recent peak in BTC price. They were definitely watching the BTC market with a magnifying glass. Looks like they timed it just right. Now I know to keep an eye on BTC to help predict market exits. Also, there wont likely be as big of swings with XMR so that may mean Archetyp is somewhat less likely to be tempted with inflated BTC price to persuade exit.

Good point on the BTC. I noticed that too. With long autofinalize times there might have been funds in there from when BTC was at 60% of the price it's at now. I think markets that deal with other coin are at higher risk of temptation when there is crypto booms. Especially bitcoin. If you see the market crypto steadily going up for a week then it's probably time to limit transactions until price stabilizes. This shit could all be avoided if escrow was decentralized. Whoever figures out how to setup a market that can do escrow without requiring being in possession of the transaction funds is going to be filthy rich just taking 5% of each transaction. Like if there was a shared wallet between the buyer and seller where possession would ordinairely transfer to buyer when the pack landed, but during dispute remained held by both buyer and seller until an independent panel voted on the dispute resolution... I don't know how you could avoid corruption though... maybe if a selection of trusted active buyers and sellers from different countries helped vote on the resolution, but certain types of evidence could only be presented which did not deanonymize the buyer or seller? It's a tricky problem.

I have never ever have vended so I have no idea how you work the amount of coin you make. Do markets require you to leave the coin on the market or do you get it out as quickly as it comes in or do the markets limit the amount that can be taken out against your finalized sales somehow? Also, I know you can make a lot in a very short amount of time so maybe that just represents 1-2 weeks of sales for you. In any event, it sucks and you have my condolences on your financial losses, truly.

The exit method is always the same and there are always warning signs, in Bohemia's case it wasn't so straight forward, they were not trying to exit scam, they were trying to recover. Once I posted warnings they were doomed because deposits slowed down.

But I noticed lot of shilling messages it seemed so much manipulation going on in the case of Bohemia. Some users that pointed out some things were instantly attacked by 4 or 5 accounts shilling the market.

I certainly understand that HugBunter has solid evidence of intent to exit. Maybe its foolish of me to even bother but they couldve intended to exit scam or were definitely thinking about it, probably because I really really really would like this one to not be an exit scam especially right now I would like to have a tiny bit of hope.

Nothing is better than this kind of situation and all of us being proven wrong. It hasnt happened alot in the past but it has happened where everyone was certain and then the market (not incognito but others came back up.

To Incognito, the best most acknowledged markets to exist on the DNMs at least gave room to get funds out. By exiting you are screwing with a lot of peoples lives, and liveliehoods. So idk you can go down as just another market that exited and scammed a lot of regular people for alot of money. Or you can have some decency and also prove a lot of people wrong.

Please guys get the system working again and give people a chance to at least get some of their shit.

What is even worse, they way they are exiting,, because it makes vendors look super bad. for buyers who are not on dread, and dont know whatis going on.
Buyers can still send messages, but vendors like us cannot respond, so buyers think we are ignoring them and their order did not get send, while IC takes their money.

Based on logic the signs were there.....they claim to except new crypto on the site, give us B.S. reasons as to why its not working and have a little faith, shut down withdrawals, shutdown communications on the site, take vendors our of vacation mode (biggest red flag to me), and so on.

But I have to commend one person and that's you /u/HugBunter it's easy to let greed take an individuals mind and bend it to selfishness, but it takes an even more resilient mind of strength to say luck that, log on here and warn your fellow dark net users. You have my utmost respect man and just want to say how much this shows what kind of integrity you have.

Guys this was a rough hit, lost a good amount unfortunately due to these assholes. We have to push on, whats sad is the amount of panic this will send users. It is well known that Incognito purchased DarkNetLive and previously I have mentioned to Pharoah that if and when he decides to shut down, it would be great if he could hand over the domain in the process to ensure it isn't used maliciously. IT IS a little weird with vendor namedeclined tho...

I ordered 2/20 and 3 days later no pack sent, which is abnormal for ND. Then ND goes offline for 5 days, which is not normal. ND never settled disputes, goes on vacation mode saying "he will settle disputes" and then incog is confirmed exit scamming. THEN we find out they are also extorting vendors. ND also was faltering in his shipping times for the two weeks leading up to his offline for 5 days then vacation. This was all very weird for ND as he ia customer oriented. ND was on Silk Road 1.0 He has seen many busts and exit scams

i'm a vendor on incognito with about $1k in escrow mostly thanks to buyers that can't seem to release payment after they've gotten their order.

i'm unable to create new listings or modify old ones. i can't seem to send out messages though i was able to receive them up to a couple of days ago.

however, i can verify that i've been receiving both xmr and btc withdrawals since march 4th.

put myself on vacation and will sit back to see how this all plays out.

Its extremely common. Very rare that they bow out gracefully, but does happen on occasion. They could, but with a market of this size its not likely, at least for a few years if they take a big hit to crypto devaluation or similar. The majority of the time they will have enough funds that they would never be able to launder it all for many many years though.

HB I agree with you brother, but do you notice that during times when the price of BTC rises dramatically, it becomes much more attractive time for a market to exit? As we saw this week, BTC made new ATH price. As I recall, when DeSnake shutdown AB, the price of XMR also took several big drops as they cashed out that haul. Peace. Unfortunate that this is true , We lost a decent amount and have not seen any withdraws since Sunday night.
We TheXanaxFactory from incongito have moved to drughub and will be merging to other markets as well but for now we are only located on drughub.
Also we cannot refund new orders and yes people are still placing orders which is not good.

No any money on the market is gone. You can order or let it sit in your wallet but having money on the market is an illusion. You cant spend it or withdraw. Once deposited its gone.
There is no staff available so disputes will just sit there but like i say if a vendor cancels you may have the illusion of having your money back and even when you withdraw it will show the withdrawal complete but your money will never arrive.

Integrity is everything in an environment like this. There were already problems with Incognito for some time now, the exit scam "finally" happened. I hope that the people that were using Incognito foresaw this and didn't get completely fucked. Every 6 -12 months we see a market go lights out, the saying: same shit different day fits this happening pretty well. Let's see what the future brings.

Why do we keep falling for the same shit all the time . Markets are the biggest scammers and markets has took out more money from us than anything else. A new one will pop up with a $500-$1000 vendor bond and we all will continue trusting them like we have forgotten what happened with the previous . Is getting way better doing DD and using well established escrow services than using the markets.

BTC withdrawal issues started on February 19th, XMR issues started March 4th (Monday), unfortunately it seems unlikely that your vendor would have managed to ship before becoming aware of the issues. Some have still honored them and took the hit, but on a big order, obviously it is less likely. I'm sorry you are in this position and hope things work out.

This happens eventually with the majority of markets, the reports I've had for archetyp in the last hour were a server error during withdrawal attempts. I wouldn't expect an exit from them, so its likely an issue amending their withdrawal system and tx fees to combat the current Monero network congestion, which explains the maintenance now to resolve it too.

Its hard for me to comment on it because its not me this affects, vendors and buyers will have to make their own decisions that they see fit to handle any fall out if data is leaked and learn from it. Just saw today my wallet, which up until today showed a balance has OFFICIALLY been cleaned out. My balances are all ZERO now. I knew it was coming.

I have an order from 2/20 that I never recived bc my vendor namedeclined went aWOL and then vacation mode and he never settled disputes.

I cant remember which site did this, it was a few years back, but they used a third party ESCROW so that in the event that they exit scammed as long as order was not finalized you could get your money back from escrow.

I am thinking incog is in control of the ESCROW on their site directly? I am sure that exit scamming was the plan all along. I am trying to find information on their escrow if anyone knows anything please comment or message me!

Its possible and if you manually encrypted with PGP yourself, rather than using the on-site auto encryption for your sensitive messages, then you have nothing to worry about. You didn't pay any sort of ransom though, that was just your funds being stolen in general. The extortion is aimed at the vendors directly to put pressure on them to take care of their customers. I think a lot of the vendors who are paying are worried about the unencrypted info THEY have sent though rather than their customers. Trusting that the admin will even remove the data after payment is crazy enough.

Edit: I forgot to cover payments, you also would have concerns if you paid in BTC and it could trace back to you, if he was to release transaction data. However, small time buyers won't even be targetted when it comes to LE.

Can't see them making much from the few customers that [pay up either, so I'm guessing it must be someone low down who hasn't profitted much from this exit because whoever had access to the main funds must have got millions and wouldn't be hassled about getting a few more thousand.

Has anyone here paid the extortion price ?
I'm a bit concerned, i'm disabled and only a small vendor earning not much at all but I'm good at what I do, I worked as hard as I could to keep 100% feedback and I got to level 3 but there's no way I can afford $1000, Incog was helping me survive at basic level. I'm now on Aba and really grateful to the mods for wavering the bond but i'm still
just earning barely enough to keep the lights on. So this extortion is really adding to my mh problems. I know there's always a risk vending but this 'option' feels worse.
Could go into more debt to pay it and it still gets leaked anyway...need some opinions.

Their method of catching the administrators who are always the target is to locate the address that sends the funds to withdraw from the market and it never works. They did it with alphabay and it didn't work. They had Alex with something else. There is so much banking and financial fraud of all types that this is very frowned upon proof if there is only a txid that comes out of nowhere. without witnesses close to the admin to organize a MR BIG they seize the server but there can be admin in prison someone.

the sellers catch them by chance or generally the cops are all over the market and order packages and look for fingerprints of people that are in their database and follow them until they catch him dropping off the package. but follow txid to catch a seller it's a crappy method and total chaos to file as evidence they have to try to get a warrant from a judge for a possible darkweb seller. Above all justify it with anonymous information or on the part of Pharaoh the worst witness in progress is a zero credibility scammer.

Kudos to /u/HugBunter for alerting, I realized it the bad way. I've just ordered some goodies from Incognito 2 days before they did their "maintenance" and that supposed "implementation of DAI and ETH as new currencies". When I saw the message I immediately realized that was an exit scam, but not such a shameless one. I don't know about DAI, but ETH it's for sure not a privacy-focused coin, and their wording "DAI, a non-freezable stablecoin" just pictured for me a humongous red flag, but it was too late. I sent a warning message to the seller I bought from, since the order was still on escrow time, but he replied me with "Your funds are safe on the market". So I just took the little remainder from my market wallet (1.13eur) and I used the "donation" function which supposedly funds a commission for the market and the rest to a nonprofit. I chose EFF, Electronic Frontier Foundation.
TL;DR
IMHO I wouldn't exit scam because I believe in my principles, and they already must have made some cheesy money from the transactions, vendor apply fees, etc. but what they did it's a shameless extortion to the people that made their market run in the first place!! It's wild. I guess it is what it is, some people would care less, and some people must be mad at them, a LOT I suppose. I encrypted each and every personal detail, you can never trust the "auto-encryption feature", so I'm pretty safe. But man, some vendors must be turning crazy with this thing.
All in all, good luck to every person directly/indirectly affected by this extortion.

I am a criminal lawyer and besides we cannot do anything with txid especially since the reimbursements were made from the market wallet. yes they can trace but a transaction. without confession you tell the police officer eh what who what what wallet. the police lack the budget to follow the cosa nostra and the Mexican cartel but they will put all their effort into verifying txids which may be hoaxes and always play the card of the imbecile who defrauds them in case visit but impossible an international criminal file with a txid coming from anonymous information falls in 2 minutes the prosecutor does not even proceed with the file and the judge will say you only have this proof a txid which links to a person who could be a victim hacking without witnesses nothing else the prosecutor is aware that you could sue the government and thank you pharaoh.

Oh i know they were not planning to implement them as a currency to use on the market, i figured the idea / intention was to post a market eth & makerDAO deposit address for those coins and subsequently get those as well.

That's a really good point. They were either testing the waters with the make-belief BTC withdrawal issues from last week in order to see how fast the info would spread or maybe they were planning to exit scam right then and there but given the bitcoin price increase they extended the exit scam deadline. I'm a bit surprized that they didn't disable the vendor announcement text box. I was able to warn quite a lot of my (potential) customers to not order and to go to Dread for more information. I remember Apollon in January 2020 locked all vendors out of their accounts and kept on taking in orders from unsuspecting customers. I would err on the sloppy side of an exit scam just like you mention. Had this been done right they could've kept going for a while. I would think that you want to target the big vendors first just like Bohemia did and allow small and medium vendors to continue to withdraw as well as users so it creates a lot of confusion. Or you can just announce that you will retire as a market after having filled your pockets and then sail off into the sunset like WHM and ASAP did with their reputation intact and if you ever run out of money you know you can always come back and use that reputation to build another market (just like Drug Hub is doing now). That would be the smart play.

We are creating new avenues for people like lawyers and doctors to get what they need through less volatile and trustable coins like DAI and still using Monero/Bitcoin for the old-school. One site that isn't going anywhere soon is incognito. At Least 6 months, waiting for a couple dealers to make it right but most of my friends love it.

I didn't, they were actively resolving it and paying out the biggest vendor withdrawals. Once I put the warning out its what caused the exit because they were no longer able to try and recover using new deposits.

No, Titan is a ghost ship and was ran by him. He was active and paid staff after the supposed disappearance. He might very well even use Titan still for whatever purposes, but its likely just left as long as the hosting is paid for.

Where was he active after the dissapearance? This is new information to me at least. I would love to see a post written up by you about where desnake went and what he was doing after the exit. I know alot of us vendors on here would. That mf got me good. I also believed for a while that he may of died but that belief was 50/50 with just regular old exit scam, leaning more towards just exit scam.

I can vouch that they did pay me back my money of about 4.5k (in hopes that i would probably write a positive note about them)

But i knew that they would pay back some other known vendors to try and get more business back into the market.

They never paid back anyone who they owed a ton of money to.

The design of that exit i don't think was on purpose. Alot of people got random money they werent supposed to get and im sure the market escrow became insolvent. And the admin wasnt gonna pay out his own pockets.

in my eyes hug you have no part in the bohemia drama. Don't listen to these guys lol

I went on vacation a month before all the major issues to clear my escrow because of all the issues.

Got down to my last 4.5k left on the market and the withdrawal got stuck. After about 2 weeks or a months (it wasnt soon at all) i actually got my 4.5k withdrawal.

But i already knew what was up. They were insolvent. they ended up sending $ to ppl that it wasnt supposed to go to. Probably totaling millions.

I imagine like the "fake" admin post stated after bohemia that they were trying to pay off withdrawals with peoples deposits. But no one was going to use the market again.

In the end it could have been a really shitty way to do an exit scam. But seems like people are creating new ways to do it!

Sadly we were one of the "anyone who they owed a ton of money to".

They paid out one withdrawal, then not the next, paid next withdrawal, not the following...

Then said it was payment system issues. Then said it was a rogue mod. And so on.

We stopped vending there before it was 100% confirmed but still lost a shit tonne of coin getting strung along for a bit like the idealistic dummies we are.

Like you said bro. A new and creative way to exit. A ponzi scheme.

They were doing some payouts and withholding others. To give dummies like us a bit of hope. While at the same time taking more deposits and using a percentage to make other payouts to string people along.

Likely they made more than the straight up exit that Incognito did. But who knows.

I do not believe for a second that they were ever trying to recover. It was a smokescreen to keep piling up those coins. Fuckers.

Glad *but at the same time jealous* that you came out unscathed mate. Keep on keepin on.

Appreciated. I am well respected in my niche community and i advertise my private store on dread (not an advertisement as i dont have that authority here). I have gathered my own badass community and back in February of last year i wanted to make myself exit scam proof. Step 1 was to divert everyone away from the market. step 2 is to create a retirement plan from the dnms and thrive soley off of the exclusive community I created. took over a year to get to the point that im at but I fucking beat them bastards. If they go into my pms they will see a bunch of people getting directed away from the market.

Some people say this is the first red flag to show whos a scammer. But i in turn live by a code i wont break. Unlike these market admins. And my own trustworthiness exceeds that of any market in mine and my customers eyes.

Plan. And start now. Vendors have been given the tools for self reliance now like porn stars and onlyfans. we do have power against admins.

Because I never needed to provide an update it was assumed they were gone and there were other posts made. For the longest time I tried to keep getting vendors withdrawals sent out. Bohemia admin was even online on Jabber multiple times in the past month and logged out as soon as I messaged him. If you're seeing it in any other perspective you're wrong, I should have made a final exit scam post for them though. The difference with Incognito is he literally admitted the exit scam so I can immediately confirm it without a doubt in my mind.

Edit: To add, there would be no warning about Incognito up from me right now if he hadn't admitted it, I was 50-50 now on whether these were genuine issues or not, I think he put all his bets on being able to bribe me.

Bro, Everyone knew or should have knew or known not to deposit to bohemia. Hugbunter did as best he could. You can't save everyone. Especially those who can't be saved. Their coin was gone, they just didn't want to accept it. Hugbunter is a fucking legend, who's saved probably 100k+ users from being exit scammed the past 7 or 8 years. No one has done more, than him in terms of helping the community and trying to minimize damage. He can't win them all and not everyone is gonna be happy but for the vast majority of us Hugbunters word is law.

yea, weeks before this happened I was messaging vendors with simple and relevant messages and no one wrote back. Turned out the messages were going in to a vapor purgatory and when I found them on other MP, they told me about the issue with comms and never got messages, sadly I didnt confirm through other channels sooner and stayed on a week or two. lesson learned.
