interesting scam idea : Fraud | Torhoo darknet markets

Hi there, been a long time since ive been on here, feels good to be back.

Recently a friend of mine contacted me about a "big opportunity" he found. He thought he found a cold wallet with around 29 btc in it, with credentials to access it ect. Honestly when he told me all that, immediately i found it sketchy, but decided to see for myself.
He found some credentials for a website called dohcoin or something like that. The website has a VIP tier list, and if you pay(starting from 0.0005 btc all the way up to 0.2 btc) you unlock different tiers with different perks.
Indeed there were 29 btc in the wallet, or at least they coded it to say that.
Now here comes the juicy part, to transfer the funds to another wallet, you need to send it to another VIP account, meaning you have to pay for the account. Since my friend had already fallen for the scam, he paid for the VIP 1 tier (0.0005 btc), which only gives you the opportunity to receive funds, but not to withdraw them. He was considering buying the VIP 2 tier which was 0.005 btc, fortunately i stopped him. The site promises with each tier you can withdraw a larger amount of btc to an external wallet.
Very obviously a scam, after i found out about this site, i discovered many more just like it, with account credentials, claiming to store over 1m usdt for example.

All this sites were so poorly made, makes you wonder, do people actually fall for this?

Thinking of creating a website of this kind, obviously a lot better and believable.

If you want you can steal the idea, honestly not that bad of a project.

Have you seen this type of scam before, or am i living under a rock?

This is basically the same thing as the scams that get people to invest in their crypto "hedge fund." Often starts as a pig butchering where someone posing as a cute girl "accidentally" texts someone and begins conversation to gain trust. Later they tell them they're a crypto trader, here's the platform, and it operates the same way by faking gains and limiting withdrawals until you deposit more money. Only difference is that it pretends to be an asset trader instead of promising hacked accounts

Here is an idea Im not going to use but it would work. Find sleazy porn site vernable to XSS. Set up Java Drive BY Amplet with affective BTC clipper. Have WormGPT write the code for you and inject it into site. there is a limmeted free version of WormGPT. Use Kali Linux to find the site and set up the trap. Then all who use the site will get the clipper unknowenly. alot of these sleaze porn dudes will use BTC to by drugs on dark web. the clipper will do its magic.
