Iran v. Israel : CafeDread | Torhoo darknet markets
As tensions between Israel and Iran rise, people need to realize that both nations are inherently bad. Israel, a genocidal government that manipulated its people and allies to commit atrocities. Iran, a government that discriminates against women and religious minorities. Both governments are bad for people, but obviously people will always take one side blindly. This is just the surface of both nations, there's much more that happens.
Israel attacked Iran and expected Iran to just take it without retaliating back. In this case, Iran had the right to defend itself. Ally nations should break ties with Israel and let them deal with the wars THEY start. At the same time, nations should also make Iran accountable for the oppression that is present within its government.
In modern times, spreading propaganda is the easiest it has ever been. There is the internet to spread the misinformation fast, artificial intelligence to produce fake news, people being paid to spread false information around, and the list goes on. It's important to always do your own research because ANYONE can be influenced by propaganda, even the smartest people around.
What are your thoughts on this take?
While you could argue it's easier to spread misinformation and propaganda , we also have access to more information and perspectives now than we ever have in the past. So we don't need to take what we see on the news or some niche publication at face value like we did in the past.
I think what people forget about Iran and the Islamic Revolution how it started: it was covert op to put their own CIA asset in power (The Shah). The Iranian people suspicious of this, raided the CIA HQ in Iran (which at that time was a strong operating base for the USA for all Middle-East affairs) to confirm their findings.
With the help of Israel, one of the goals of the USA is to extract resources from these nations by overthrowing governments/leaders. All under the false premise of "liberation".
Personally, it's sickening to see the heinous acts carried out. I appreciate that we can look at things with nuance, but it is bothersome to see people I know from Israel who believe that this all started on October 7th.
I'm (obviously) leaving a lot out and there's a shit ton to unpack here. Question everything, do your own research. No nation is ethnocentric, don't believe that one group "is on the right side of history" or the "chosen ones". We are all equal, even if our social structures try to force not to be.
