I've never had an issue with the g66 link, ever. What I've deduced is that some of yall get such latency issues due to your opsec setups. Your connection sometimes has to go to hell n back just for it to reach Dread servers, in the name of opsec
I have a hardware VPN connected to a wifi card, 2 software VPNs, socks5, TAILS, I use the mcdonalds wifi from around the block, and I route everything to a second computer...why THE FUCK are links not loading?????? I'm tryna order an eighth of weed here.
Most any site that is like dread, and as well-known and used, is going to be DDoS'd by phishers and scammers and other low-life people on the DN, mate. Comes with the territory. One thing I know helps me a bit is a solid connexion to the Internet, which usually means not using wifi as the connexion point.
The "g66" is the one that works right now. Regarding posts, it's just people moved on to less secure shit. People buy drugs on Telegram now without PGP and they think it's fine. That's why there is less content.
I have occasional issues, especially with captchas loading, but I don't think it's dying. These issues have always been a thing, and is partially related to how tor itself functions.
You must be new around here. OK, 1 year so no really. It has it's bad days as do all onion sites but it's been here a long time. Ddossers always move on after a while.
You could try changing your identity every so often. Yes you will need to go through the great wall of image mystery, but it does change your route as one or several of the nodes in route may have issues. If on VPN, check to see if you need to switch end points. If it is too busy, change to a different one.
