Is dual booting qubes with another OS on the same SSD a good idea? : Qubes | Torhoo darknet markets

Hi, I will explain the scenario.

Lets say I have an 8TB SSD in a laptop from a company which makes coreboot laptops and I want to use both windows and qubes on the same SSD.

I will then partition the disk myself to create partitions for windows and partitions for qubes. I know exactly how to do this as I have done this for other linux distributions before and I know how to manually encrypt the partitions myself. So in this case, I will have my windows encrypted with veracrypt and qubes encrypted with LUKS.

Is this a security compromisation to have windows and qubes on the same SSD? I heard that if my windows were to get infected with a virus, the virus could jump onto the /boot partition of qubes and cause malicious software to load as I boot qubes, compromising my security. However, in my setup, the windows and qubes partitions are encrypted separately so while I am using windows, the qubes parition is completely shutoff and encrypted. However, as I said there is still the risk of the malware jumping onto my qubes /boot partition

Would using coreboot, EDKII, measure boot with secure boot flow prevent my qubes system from getting compromised in the scenario where malware is installed onto my windows and malware jumps onto the boot partition? Or should I just grab a laptop with 2 separate SSD ports to prevent any of this madness from happening.

Thanks to anyone who reads this and takes time to reply to this.

Regardless of your configuration, as long as your other partition can be mounted or read, it can be compromised. It is advisable to refrain from using the same device for both your personal and darknet activities.
