A smart phone is continuously estimating it's location, likewise are cell towers constantly triangulating every connected devices location. Parts of this data is stored for years.
So, yes, LE could retroactively get a hint of what locations you been using. It's not hard evidence, but something that could be used for later investigations.
From OpSec perspective you should connect from random locations far from home. Don't re-visit the same locaton for months. Do not bring any other devices like Bluetotth earpods etc. with you, they radiate to and will be gathered by nearby devices. Also do not bring any CC or smart cards with you to be sure that you don't leave any electronic traces.
depends on what are you doing but i recommend u open the phone remove the camera and microphone , the second thing install this OS system in your phone like ''CopperheadOS'' or other ones .... search bro and read it good because it remove all google apps and shit like google play \google maps ..... and replace it with F-droid market with open source apps that u can use for google Maps use OsmAnd , signal for chat ....
