Eat it without decarb step. If its active, you have distillate. Hash usually is not pressed at a temp high enough to decarb, if exposed to heat at all.

The fact that it bubbles like crazy and lacks the traditional hash smell or flavor points to it potentially being more synthetic than authentic. I smoked my fair share of homemade and imported hash, one of the best ways that i found to test whether or not your hash has been cut with something flammable is to make take a little bit of hash. A very tiny pebble sized piece that you can stick on top of a cigarette then wait til it starts pissing out its content. When some smoke starts forming, well first of all if the smoke is anything but white, you know that there is something wrong with your hash.

Anyways, hold a lighter above the smoke coming out of the piece of hash on your cigarette. Not too close to the cigarette and not too far either, enough for you to see the smoke trying to detour the flame.

If the smoke coming out of the hash feeds the flame and makes it bigger, congratulations, you now just found out that some retard introduced a flammable gas/oil into your hash. You DO NOT want to put this shit in your lungs.

Other than that, a really well trained nose and sense of taste will never steer you wrong. If you have been around the corner, you will know by the smell and texture alone that the hash is sketchy. Tasting it is going a little overboard but taking a bit of risk can prove to be beneficial in figuring out if what you have is hot garbage or the real deal.
