Is there a way to stay logged in to Mars? : MarsMarket | Torhoo darknet markets

Hi, lovely Mars Mods :)

I love your site but every site is different (I've created accounts on a few but only ever used Arch which, like yours had a fantastic UI) and I am still finding out the different features on it. I found a fab vendor from Arch on your site and I sent him a message, continuing a conversation we had been having on Arch before it went down.

The message said it was ''pending'' which is new to me. I noticed there was an ''unread'' notice, so presumably it would show when the message is read? If so, I think that's an excellent feature. But I got a bit confused and pressed the ''close'' button, but not only that, I removed the message.

It was still there when I went back to messages, but it was ready to send so I sent it again and apologised to the (very nice) vendor if he received it twice.

That's not the issue. I will work all that out for myself.

But I decided to stay logged in to Mars and check back later to see if he had read it or answered it. I left that page open and did other things on my PC. I looked back at the message page a few times and it said it was sent ''1 second ago'', when it had clearly been sent longer ago than that.

I then tried to open the homepage in a new tab but got the log in page. I then went back and clicked on messages and also got the log in page, so I realised then that I had probably been logged out for some time.

Is there a way to stay logged in for a certain length of time?

Thanks :)
yeah marsmarket have a verry good UI, the unread option is for your self like if the receiver sended you a message back then you can click on uread so when you want to reply to him later you can see that he sended a message, on archetyp it whas "MARK UNREAD" it is the same thing on marsmarket
Pending means that the receiver did not reply yet
if you closed the message that means that the receiver cant reply anymore, but he can still read it if iam right not sure bcs you said that you removed the message

it says 1 secound ago bcs you did not reload the page yet thats why, when you reload it then it will give you a other time

i think for security reason's, if you did not go to a other page or reload it then it will logout it self after a certen time

Thanks very much for the advice! Much appreciated. Yes, I got a bit confused and did remove the message, lol. So I presume he wouldn't have been able to read it. So I sent it again and apologised if he did get it twice.

I never thought about reloading the page. I did go to another page, thinking I was still logged in, but I had obviously been logged out by then. One lives and learns!

Thanks again :)
anytime man ; )
well now you know how it works ; )

no problem at all and have a nice day ; )

As Maestrodutch mentioned, for security reasons, you will be automatically logged out after a period of inactivity.

Have a great day.

Thanks /u/OlgaMars. Maestrodutch gave me a good explanation, but I just have one more question, and I'm sorry to belabour the point, but is there a specific period of inactivity before one is logged out? As in one hour or whatever? It's just that I wasn't just sending a message to the vendor I mentioned, but I was also checking out other listings and vendors on the site, and where they shipped from (and to) etc, so I thought I was being active! Clearly not. Just curious if there is a set time of inactivity before one is logged out, to avoid it happening again when I visit the site. Of course, I can just log back in but it's easier to stay logged in while I am using it. I want to look through the site thoroughly and favourite anything useful to me. That's what I did on Arch and it was surprising the gems I found!

Thanks again /u/maestrodutch. I presumed that pending meant my message was waiting to be sent! Not that the recipient hadn't replied yet. That's good to know. I sat there looking at it and wondered when it was going to be sent and then got in a real tizz and well, messed it up, lol.

Oh, I've just logged in to Mars and just wanted to say, thanks again (again, lol) /u/maestrodutch for your explanation about pending. I clicked on my user panel and noticed under ''conversations'' that there is a cool feature of an inbox and an outbox. I clicked on the outbox and it said my message was still pending. I would have thought that it was still waiting to be sent (and would have been wondering why) if it hadn't been for your explanation. But now I know it has been sent but the vendor hasn't replied yet. I saw the two messages I had sent in my outbox, including the closed one and noticed that I could have opened that again, so that's what I should have done, I guess, even though I had removed it, and just pasted my message into that and sent it. Never mind. I'm still learning.

Arch was the first darknet market I had used, so I'm not super au fait with all the differences between the markets. I wanted to check that I had the right PGP key for the vendor so I deleted the one I had on Kleopatra and copied and pasted his PGP key details into Kleopatra and magically his fingerprint appeared. I have no idea how that works! It's all a mystery to me. I just do it by rote, following instructions I was given once by a kind person.

I copied and pasted his fingerprint on Mars into a draft email plus his fingerprint in Kleo and compared them - checked and double checked - and then deleted the draft. But while I was checking I kept going back to Mars and clicked on a few things just so I wouldn't be logged out until I wanted to be, lol.

I saw you on there! Your offerings are a bit more exotic than my simple needs, but I see you really have been around! Man, guys like you must have balls of steel to keep going like you do, haha.
yeah just look around then you will get used to how it works, with /d/marsmarket its verry easy to find what you want man

yeah man i do my best to look good on the darknet ; )

have a nice day man ; )
