I've come to a conclusion. : EmpireMarket | Torhoo darknet markets

Fucked on ketamine i'm always coming to ridiculous revelations. 'Ketelations' i call them. They can happen in a moment and as they unravel themselves it all starts to make so much sense. However, as soon as I feel a grasp on that life changing thing or act that could impact so positively on my life in so many ways it just dissapears. It trails off into whatever film i'm watching. I fall out of the hole to a signature Guy Ritchie cut and im sat there helpless clutching at straws. Things seemed so clear only moments before but now are lost.
I digress, I'm watching monsters inc and had a 'ketelation' while i was watching the scene when they're holding onto doors as they fly through the factory on rails. It made me think of autonomy. We need to turn our back on markets which use escrow wallets to hold our funds. It's not a question of if its a question of when they are going to exit scam. Taking the wallets away from the market owners removes the ability to steal funds and the admins can be compensated in various other methods decided through pre determined code. Basically what i am saying is don't flock to Icarus market, it is the same as Alphabay and Empire both of which exit scammed, as will Icarus and every other escrow based market.

Vote with your feet, don't allow a few individuals to even possess the capability to take a huge amount of everyones cash thats why btc was invented in the first place.

Hopefully this made some sense

I find so called ketalations easier to maintain than tryptamine or phenethylamines revelations. For example the existence of a second mind is quite clear to me now even when sober.

You're right but there *aren't any* trustless markets. It's the future but it will take someone skilled and without greed. Distributed, open source, multisig only, with reputation based random arbiters rewarded from vendor fees. Zero knowledge transactions.

Imagine openbazaar + Hansa + i2p + zcash, simplified as much as possible and community run.

Does monero not fit into that mix?

Monero is great. In fact, as a currency, I definitely recommend it over zcash because it's private by default. You really have to try hard to mess up with monero. The privacy and encryption is very strong. I own and use monero.

But monero wins over zcash because of first-mover advantage, politics and being more user friendly. Zcash has some academically advanced techniques (zero-knowledge proofs) that have been forcing the entire field of cryptography forward. They consistently release very high end research. Indeed they have even caused monero to abandon RingCT in favor of Bulletproofs which is inspired by zcash's work.

the crux of it is that in an academic or theoretical sense the privacy guarantees of zcash are stronger than those of monero, and the approach more elegant. And this technology can be applied beyond financial privacy to include total privacy for the orders and disputes themselves. So if one was to design the perfect system I would use zcash's technology and neither of the currencies.

Am i right in saying that Multi-Sig for BTC is the closest we can get at present to prevent an 'exit scam' market, obviously XMR would be ideal however their developers have no future plans for Multi-Sig. Based off of what I've just said isn't there only 1 main market at present operating Multi-Sig?

Yes I'd say so. Although, I don't know of any markets at present that are operating multi-sig. Which one are you talking about?

Agreed. Why does everyone seem to prefer those types of markets? Monopoly has a great interface, runs smooths, and is wallet-less yet there are so many fewer vendors there. I don't get it.

User interface and the troubles that go into setting up multi sig are the reasons.
Its a shame.
There will always be a place for these markets from people that are tech savvy enough to do normal tx's but not quite enough for multi sig

I'm still learning myself

Problem is people fly there to find what they need in a jam. Some have habits and will have withdrawls, some have customers, some need to flip because of covid and lost their job. Most probably come with the intention of just grabbing what they need while they find something more secure. Most stay out of laziness or complacency. There are a few items that only icarus sells that others dont..

I happen to like icarus. 2 orders already and they went great. To me it is like EM without all the little nuances. One of my goto guys went there. But we have an agreement now. If he ships immediately i will release the same way.. i place order he ships right away and when i see movement on informed i release but without doing feedback. I also time placement on my orders to minimize time money sitting in escrow wallet. So pretty much my first order had my money sitting on there for about 8 hrs and the second was just over 24hrs.

I think a good way are direct deals with trusted sellers.

Right now to help my clients doing DD I am offering 50% up front, 50% after reception.

Yes, I will probably get burned once or twice... but I feel like in the end it's less than losing to an exit-scam seizure. Also, it helps the customers by lowering their overall risk.

I am 100% serious about working with you I placed that order we discussed on Empire a day maybe 2 before it all came down and have been trying to get something worked out with you to order a sample of a couple different strains but if you arent serious just tell me. Its been a ruff summer but its about the time of year where everyone has headies for cheap. Just let me know either way, I can give you my secmail or however you want to work or just tell me fuck off

As a buyer I used a market that doesn't require a wallet...but the funds still have to be released to the vendor. So aren't they still sitting in some site escrow in the meantime?
