Loading Images Onto My Tails/Persistent Storage? How to? : DarkNetMarkets | Torhoo darknet markets

I have never had to load any images in the last decade of ordering through the markets; however, I have a vendor that sent the wrong product. Same count, same brand, easy mistake. Sent Klonopin instead of Ritalin. I told them I would like to allow them the opportunity to fix the issue and I took pictures for clarification and verification in case I needed to do so. Normally, vendors have just done a re-ship, but I certainly can understand they would like clarity as anyone out there could make claims and threaten with blackmails to fuck up their algorithms, etc. My question is, how do I upload anonymously these dump images onto my Tails operating system in order to be able to send the images to vendor via whichever method they request. Any recommendations? I really do not want to break any OPSEC critical details due to negligence. Any and all advice and tips as to how the best way to go about this would be? How do you all upload your pictures? Once I have uploaded onto the operating system, should I temporarily save under my Persistent Storage? Or Tor Persistent Storage? Don't be shy. This is one aspect I would like to make damn sure I cover my ass, due to the sensitive information in the pictures; packaging with names, addresses, and of course the product sent. Thanks to anyone and all who chime in!

If you click on Applications then Accessories in Tails, you'll find a pre-installed app called Metadata Cleaner.

Alternatively, after you get the pics on your machine, you can right click and select "Open with" and then select Metadata Cleaner from the list.

I usually open properties of images just to double check there is no remaining exif data before I post or send pics.

To get the pics on the machine, boot Tails and connect to the device the pics are on before you connect to Tor/Internet using a USB cable. Transfer what you need to, then remove the device from the machine before you get online.

You can save pics anywhere you want in the persistent volume. Everywhere else like downloads, pictures, videos folders are amnesiac and will be deleted every time you reboot.

Scrub all exif data from the pictures then upload them to something like dump.li and send the vendor the link instead of the picture itself.

As for the best way to do that on tails, im not sure hopefully someone else can help with that.

No need to use persistent storage on the tails drive. Put the image on some medium (flash drive, SD, direct phone with USB connection) and plug it in while running Tails. Open GIMP and crop the image to hide actual resolution. Export the image and tick off all boxes for saving metadata (GIMP will do that for you). Ideally screenshot the result image and go through the same process with GIMP to avoid any hidden steganographic metadata from the phone.

well i would upload the images to a image file hosting service like dumpli or imagegirl you can find the onions in the daunt links on the sidebar. once you get your images onto tails there is a built in app that removes exif meta data i believe its called MAT tool, i don't use tails but know there is a program to remove the meta data you don't want your GPS info embedded in the pic even though the vendor already knows where you live and your address may be in the photos. once you have uploaded your pics then share the URL with your vendor via a market message ? you would have to provide more information like where the photos are ? on SD card, phone, computer etc... you would want to turn on persistent storage /home/amnesia/Persistent if you want to keep the images. for example if you took the pictures on an iphone you can install apt-get install ifuse and mount the iphone then copy the images to your tmp folder and move that to persistent. you could also mount your computer HD in tails if your images are on a computer ? as long as you don't read or write to the mounted drive your OPSEC should be fine. like i said i don't use tails so specifics are a little unclear but a search should give you the terminal commands you need to mount NTFS or use ifuse or whatever. check out reddit r/tails also i think imagegirl has options to make password or mark your photos private or something if you log in. alternatively you could remove the exif meta data on the clear web and use dumpli clearweb site to upload the files then share the onion link with your vendor. im not sure if your trying to share images why you would have to use tails
