as the title says, i cant seem to tell the difference between local bud from dealer and dnm. what do others think?

well that would relative to the connections and ability to source quality products from that particular individual you are purchasing from, whoever that is, a "Local dealer" or a vendor on the dnm.

The vendors vary in quality a lot, and mant of the local plugs are getting it from DNMs

Probably because you can't really cut weed with anything.
Usually powders (speed, coke etc.) are a lot purer from a decent DNM vendor, as long as you know the right one to buy from that is.

dnm dealers either grow, know someone who does, or buy bulk

weed is weed, it's grown well and cured well or not, only real way to ensure quality is DIY
