I'm curious what adulterants are commonly sold as LSD/Acid in recent years. I have a friend who thought he had a bad first trip on acid, but after giving him real shit he said there's no way it was acid the first time. I know that back in the day, it was common to find NBOME, but is it still nowadays? What about DOB/DOM? Anything else commonly an adulterant?

i don't think so, i feel like the only true imposter probably still is NBOME.

However, that is assuming you are getting blotter paper tabs. would ofc be diffrent if you are getting a vial. the liquid in the vial could be anything.

I always test my stuff with a reagant and i would say the only redflag i look out for visually is how large the tabs are

Acid is so damn cheap, I think even most nBombs are more expensive.

I think the biggest cut these days is extra water in the vials smh.

These days, I don't know. I haven't bought acid off the street since my dead family plug passed away, several years ago. rip.
you'd think they must have come up with some new shit by now.
so to summarize, I really am unable to answer your actual question unfortunately.
However, you are making me want to go on a quest to go find acid locally, from several different random sources, then test them....
This could be an actual project for harm reduction purposes. Plus I'll get to try whatever new fake lsd they have. Not gonna lie I had some good times on nBOMEs. But I always was aware what I was taking was not real LSD. The price was just massively cheaper at the time. Still had some insane effects, but not always clean feeling.

This was the days when the white on white fluff was in abundance on the streets, at least in the locale I was in at the time.

On one 25-c experience, the comeup was characterized by literal projectile vomiting. Wasn't the best trip I've ever had lol.
