HolyC is the only language that I can't easily hack. Anything else is trivial.

It's a just-in-time compiled, statically typed, imperative language with some object-oriented programming elements.

Nothing else has God's ✝️ 🙏 Seal of Approval.🙏✝️
laravel is good if u know what u are doing . and a beginner who don't have experience should not think abt running a marketplace bcz there are many ppl waiting to attack and steal money
Some DNMs don't even hide it, login into torzon and you'll see it's PHP. Quite a few old, and amateur attempts at building DNMs rely on an old laravel pre-made kit named Eckmar that was being sold ages ago. Through some error messages you can see there's some markets using nodejs and ruby.

What is wrong with PHP? I think PHP is a good code language.
Everything is selfcoded and that no script like Eckmar was used, which in the worst case could even contain a backdoor.

I don't think I said PHP was inherently bad and/or insecure, I was just answering OP about which languages are used in DNMs. Eckmar script was (is) quite poorly coded , as you surely know well, and relies on an obsolete Laravel framework version , thus why so many newbies that have attempted to build a DNM with it have got hacked really fast (and they still do nowadays).

Then I apologize for that, I must have misunderstood.
Its probably time for me to take a break. :)
No need to apologise at all, it's true that because of PHP easiness, so many people feel confident to use it and use it as their first programming language, and because of that, tons of crappy code have been built upon it. If you add how bad old PHP versions were in terms of security (I'm talking about PHP 3 and 4), some -many- people associate PHP with bad code.
