What if they don't come up with a solution in a reasonable amount of time? I don't care how much money you throw at the tor dev team. If it has taken this long to come up with a solution it might take months or even YEARS to fully combat these types of attacks.

Am pretty sure you know there was a Mod who disabled withdraw funds for some vendors. before reopening the market you need to solve this issue or at least find a middle ground with those vendors. otherwise the new market will be suspicious more than already have!

DM was the best, hope its back. They were very honest and let everyone know well in advance to withdraw their funds - which i did. Hope to See them back again in August. I hope there is a way they can keep reviews and star ratings etc.

if it was legit,speedstepper would've been in jail by now and big fat notice of "LEA SEIZED THIS SITE"..For a while the DDOs on attack on dream stops only makret that never got DDOs when every other market was.Again,there could be another market there could not be.

Not necessarily though. If it was true, they would still need to locate the server(s) first before they would attempt an arrest most likely. Otherwise it could just continue running on its own for some time if it was built well enough or a new admin could step in if they had credentials to run it also.

I got my 0.1 bond released like a week before dream was suppossed to shut and successfully withdrew. My buddy got his 0.2 bond back a couple of days after mine. I still wouldn't trust them but they were releasing bonds after closing sales.

I think the most interesting point of that article was at the end, where the message was sent using Dream PGP to his mailbox and then hit by "DeCarlo" - but to confirm this, we'd need to see the actual message headers and server log data; on top of that if he's smart of enough to use PGP, he'd know it was encrypted in Dream's PGP and not click the link, especially after all the calls and the structure of the mail message - we wont see the headers / nor server logs so this will leave some things to be only *Possible*. While I think LE does get involved, most of our LE is on our streets. DeCarlo could just be a honeypot too... Not enough factual data, just speculative, IMO. Cool read tho ;)
