This warning is from devs, they said: can use multisig only with fully trusted participants. It doesn't make sense if you ask me coz why do you need multisig if you totally trust other guys =)
Anyway this potential danger of losing coins is more theoretical than practical. The biggest issue is if only 1 participant finalizes wallet and sends coins there but other 2 don't. In this case yeah, money lost.
But bitcoin is not good for darknet and anyway in future we all should move to more secured tools like XMR.
Looking forward to when this becomes easy to use with Feather wallet or Monero GUI. Even better if it is so easy even monerujo or cake wallet can perform multi sig tx.
This would revolutionize the entire XMR ecosystem.
Thus far, I cannot stand that markets continue to say they use multi sig, using MITs coinb.in system. Electrum has it, but they won't apply how electrums multi sig functions to markets.
Making it useless to use electrum multi sig function out of the box so to speak.
As for XMR MS I'm not sure it'll be implemented for GUI wallets soon, also difficult to make it convenient. Needs separated wallet for every order, imagine if vendor has hundreds ms orders and needs to choose which one to open to do some action.
I'm thinking to make web interface for XMS I mention above.
Such a great & high-effort post, thank you!
Is the script wrapper for RPC still available? I would like to reproduce the steps and take a look at the implementation.
If it is open-source, I would like to take a look at both (CLI and webGUI). The server replies with 500 when I try to download the script following the link in the post.
But even if I was able to download it, I imagine the version there is already outdated.
also "Things that could go wrong include: funds sent to a multisig wallet can't be spent at all" bro
