From Netherlands is risky. If they really intercepted it, they'll send you a "love letter". Don't react, keep cool. You're not the first one and in 99% of all cases nothing further will happen. Anyway: don't make any statement - they have very little evidence against you and if you never ordered before there's nothing they might come up with against you. Better stick to domestic vendors.
The other options are: you got scammed. Bad luck. Happens. Or the package was lost. Same luck. Happens too but less frequently.

It depends on the country you ordered from. I’ve heard countries like Sweden have increased checks on packages coming from Germany and the Netherlands, especially for suspicious items.
