My personal review of a cheap pressing operation set up. : murderhomelesspeople | Torhoo darknet markets
So, I've had the big boy VH-8 and TDP-5. I love the mixer, the TDP-5 is a love-hate relationship. If you don't bolt down your TDP-5, you will NEVER have consistent tablet size. That thing bangs around like a mother fucker. Even when it is bolted down, it will still slowly move the "size bolt" as like to call it. It's loud, it's clunky, it needs to be babysat, it spits out powder like a fucking hose, but it dose get the job done. It's a solid pressing machine. I have broke that machine down and put it back together to and from bare frame. I know my way around it.
The VH-8 mixer is LARGE AND HEAVY but it's a fucking beast. No complaints. Love it. I mean...it's a mixer...it mixes. They all work the same.
I wanted to try a cheaper operation build out. Where you could have a whole lab for cheap. You might not be able to press out you know, large vendor numbers, but for a small local operation? I wanted to find out.
The VH-2
This thing is comically tiny and, surprisingly, the most expensive part. At $750 shipped, I was a little shocked at the price tag for this machine. I mean, the width of the machine is a LONG...9 inches...and it's about 13ish inches tall. From the very end to end, it's not even 2 feet long. It's TINY. The barrel can only hold 0.8 liters of powder. You'll have to do molar mass calculations to get grams to liters here but don't expect to mix much.
Which, isn't
that big of an issue because mixing only takes about 15 to 20 minutes for a nice mixture so you can pump out a few batches in an hour and get to work. Pairing this with the TDP-0 is almost perfect because your "pills per day is very limited so you don't need much powder mixed up. A VH-8 would just be unnecessary for a TDP-0.
I think for $750 shipped, it's a tad pricey but, pairing with the TDP-0, it's a solid option.
The TDP-0
The one you want to hear about. First, price, I know everyone wants to know. This machine was shipped from the USA. It was $500 exactly, including shipping. I got it in under a week.
Now, the weight and size of the machine. It weighs 65ish pounds. It's not hard to move but it is a very awkward shape so it will take you by surprise. Much lighter than the TDP-5 I have, as that thing weighs over 200 pounds. NOT easy to move. It's small and light so it's easy to put away and take out without much hassle. It still feels solid though, you're not going to just tip it over and it won't be bouncing around the table.
The review of the actual operation of the machine is going to depend on how you look at things. When you are sitting there cranking out pills? Yeah...you'll be dreaming of the TDP-5 or even a TDP-1.5(The electric TDP-0). It's a fucking workout, I'm not going to lie. I don't think I could sit there and crank out 1000 pills out of this thing in one sitting.
Maybe over the course of a day but I don't know. It's rough.
But there's some beauty behind it. It doesn't need power. You can have this machine anywhere. It doesn't make much noise. The TDP-5 will sound like a hammer constantly hitting a metal table, to compare it to something. It doesn't really spit powder out as much as the TDP-5. The chance of it having a tracker installed are very slim because, well, it doesn't have anything to power a tracker. There's not as many mechanical errors to correct. If you've ever had a TDP-5 machine stuck, you know how fun those are.
i don't know, for $500 all in, it truly is an amazing machine.
Can it press bars?
+1 and some stupid award for you, you get doge award
