They don't care. Actually ncb nowadays knows that lsd isn't bad. But they're law enforcers, its their job to catch us. I know this because I was grilled by ncb officers when they arrested me. They love sending people to jail, its not to make society better or improve the person but they feel sense of accomplishment in life by ruining our lives. They literally don't consider us as humans, just criminals who they've to catch and try to get convicted. They probably even dream of coffee getting banned so they can arrest lakhs more.

Another guy who was in the lockup with me was proud psychonaut, he went on explaining all the effects and benefits of acid to the ncb officer, IO listened carefully, he showed him videos, psychonautwiki etc in hopes of gaining some sympathy. It was nice entertainment for the IO, he wrote that down. Probably latter added that to the chargesheet as "accused was addicted to lsd and brainwashed by internet explained how illegal trafficking networks work in detail, thus proving him as the kingpin" hahahahahah.

They are actually incentivized to make more busts happen now because it helps them in their promotions , moving up the ranks etc. Look at Sameer wankhede, they almost proved the monstrous bribe he asked off that actor for releasing his son , mostly on bjps orders. Now he is backed by bjp , cases against him are being dropped and he is contesting in elections because bjp gave him a seat . Just wow. This is the level of beauracracy we have to deal with in our country. It's actually getting worse as we speak.
