Most of the work I do is in the background (keeping shit up) but I think it's time some new ones come to the foreground. Spent a good part of today getting a quality of life feature up for subdread moderators and market admins. Community moderators can now disable the messaging of mods in any subdread. If you are a premium user, you now have options to disable personal messaging too. Both options have an ability to leave a message.

As of premium memberships (available in /store) I am also extending the time a membership is active from a month to a YEAR. If you did have a membership in the last month that expired let me know and I'll credit you the $50.

There is also a lot of extra background work done which will make staff lives easier. More fixes are coming soon.

I don't know why, but this whole interaction with the feature request, bounty offer and how it played out feels really wholesome.

Spent too long browsing Reddit where all the comment discussion I saw was negative or shitty, to then jump on the Darkweb which is supposed to be full of bad people and criminals.

Just to see Paris and BigBoss high fiving over this whole thing really made me smile, no drama, just good times all around.

hey mate, awesome updates.

now that premium is so affordable it would be a great feature to allow us an option to gift it to users in the store :)

just a q on the premium feature i assume that is global? if so i have a suggestion (yes more work haha!) to pimp it that would add some extra benefit: an allow list of some sort. - not something i've fleshed out, but perhaps a filter that enables DM's from subscribers of specific subs, and at a higher level potentially all subs moderated.

i used to not be able to justify buying premium for 50 dollars a month because i did not mind doing the captchas so i donated to dread in stead but for 50 dollars a year i am in :-)

i am now a premium user!!!! thank you dread staff for making this change i think that this will get you more premium users in the long run.

thanks. although i think a bug was introduced; after posting a comment w/ captcha, it routes to a blank white screen. upon refresh, the page loads, with comment that i posted. comment without captcha, i get the "failed captcha" header, but comment still posts. not sure if it's just me though

Ah. No worries. I thought I had the auto-update thing on and it turns out I didn't check in to get that last 5 i needed to update the membership. But it's all good. I just donated the last $9 i had on there after adding the rest I (thought) needed

Edit: also...no big deal but it's still asking me to solve a captcha to post, only the captcha pictures are blank and it doesn't seem to matter if I do it right or not lol

Got the description added. Once you are a premium member the system shouldn't prompt you for any captchas. If you are getting a captcha with a blank picture just press submit and it should work. The system is just figuring out if you should have a captcha or not.
