No matter what BigBoss did... : DarkNetMarkets | Torhoo darknet markets

before or after the end...

nobody can say he was a complete piece of shit like some of the rest of the characters we all know..

When doing some some general research about him, aka Marc Hegemeister, I found a gofundme he was a donator to only 11 months ago...

Not just any donator, but THE TOP donator... coming in at about 39,000 EUROS...

With the #2 donator only having donated 1000...

The go fund me was for a little German girl in need of a heart.. the first paragraph of the gofundme descriptions reads:

"Little Emma from Hille was a cheerful, cheerful and healthy child for 4 years. Always full of energy and energy.
On 10 June 2024, she was admitted to Osnabrück Hospital with a heart failure."

A narcissistic, money loving, selfish prick of an admin.. I think maybe not...

Just a cool observation.
At least there is at least one documented thing that he did with his money other than the other 99% LE say he was doing with it.
They'll never let this see the light of day in his court hearing.

God bless and godspeed my friends!
Much love and respect to all of you!

Also, for Archetyp's 4th birthday last year he gave away a bunch of XMR to users of the market. All you had to do was click a button and you got a free $10 instantly added to your account balance. I don't think another market has ever done anything like this, it was really nice thing to do! /post/e69b72451b0006bd1d9e

He was a regular contributor to a forum called the hub. It was early days of Archetyp and he was banned on dread or something, he wasn't active here. He had some pretty strong opinions and would defend them, but he would listen to counter arguments and accept them if they made a point. He would never change his opinions though. Great guy.

BigBoss is a special person who was able to create a brilliant marketplace with innovative ideas. But unfortunately, even he couldn't avoid the inevitable. At least, though, it wasn't an exit scam.
In light of things like this, he appears even more valuable in my eyes.
Well said

Why would an exit be worse? You would rather LE had your money rather than market admins? I would rather the admins took it

This is not about money, but about respect. Would you respect BigBoss more, if he stole your money? I dont think so..

Few years will pass and he will be back, WITH the respect he gained from lot of users

Exactly. My comment was all about respect. Of course, for him, this is the worse, but at least many-many vendor and customer remember as good marketplace owner. I know, it helps maybe nothing.
Thank you for sharing this. Some people don't understand the risk others are going through to provide for the community. It is easy to type behind a computer screen and share your opinion.
With everything else aside, this was a great read. <3

Allowing to sell drugs to people is something that can't be justified. It's just a money game for everyone involved. No amount of donations he makes to various causes can change what he's done, maybe it helped him with his morals.

Marc was a man of real character. Archetyp was a great market!

People are going to do drugs no matter the price and no matter what happen's in the world.

DNM's allow people to get the drugs they are going to do anyway without dying randomly to a hotspot of fent.

something that can't be justified is keep locking people up when they are replaced the second they are arrested. They lost the drug war years ago.

Another thing that can't be justified is that people get locked up, pay their debt to society, then are legally discriminated against becuase of their record and not unable to put their lives back on track. Having a criminal conviction is one of the last things that an employer or property owner can legally discriminate against in the US. Did they pay their debt or not? I think most convicts would rather do more time and come out with a sealed record than do less or no time and have to deal with the legal discrimination. This is one of the largest contributers to recitivism; people get frustrated and end up going back to what they know. If society actually wants to deal with relapse and recitivism they need to give former adicts and convicts a chance at a normal life. This never-ending punishment isn't good for anyone.
I think most convicts would rather do more time and come out with a sealed record than do less or no time and have to deal with the legal discrimination.

Very well written. You make a great point about paying your debt to society and being put in a position that likely will just lead you back into the prison cycle. Some would rather not take parole and instead complete their full sentence to avoid any possibility of violating their conditions and being sent back for longer. Drug transactions are going to happen whether there is a darknet or not. Time after time - that people would rather buy for their friends or family than have them meet some street-level dealer who is trying to maximize their profit. There are, of course, outliers to this. But in general, I think you hit the nail on the head!

Did you know that No One can legally be sentenced to probation and incarceration time for the same offenses? Probation cannot accompany incarceration.

This illegal practice sadly has become the norm due to no one challenging it and showing its cleary against the law.

Sorry but what an absolutely silly stance you have. Buying drugs should be a free and open right to every adult human and the fact that we have to resort to illegal means is a farce of the Government. Not the dealers (unless they're cutting the stuff with God knows what)
