noob xmr question : Monero | Torhoo darknet markets

hello, i am confused about the xmr process and was directed here after posting to https://torhoo.cc/go.php?u=TDJRdlJHRnlhMjVsZEUxaGNtdGxkSE5PYjI5aWN3PT0=#.

specifically, how do i get xmr in the first place? i downloaded cake wallet on tails and its stuck "attempting sync" and will not let me buy xmr. do i need a cake wallet outside of tails to begin with?

next, after i have xmr in cake wallet, i send it to my feather wallet and then im good to go?

sorry about the noob question this is probably very simple and im just dumb. thanks in advance for any info.

Get Feather wallet on Tails is more friendly use, imo is a great wallet for Monero

You need a good internet network to use wallets like cake and feather, because you'd have to download the entire xmr blocks which is usually high to be able to use the wallet or even see your xmr balance.

One of the good things about Feather is it uses remote nodes out of the box. Very light on ssd space.

you can use Cake wallet or FixedFloat. FixedFLoat is a website through, not a wallet. you just send your btc or other crypto to the address it gives and it sends it to a XMR wallet you provide.

i think its better then cake wallet because the fees are lower.

yes that's one way, you could always do a remote node, depends on your threat model. if you do remote node it wont even be 1gb.
