Observer is a hidden service analysis tool designed for security researchers. Our search function allows users to make specific and precise queries about hidden services on the dark web. This function is based on patterns that can be used to filter and refine results. Dorks can be used individually or in combination.
Available dorks
- title - Allows searching by page title in a non-strict manner, i.e., results will be shown that contain the keyword in the title.
- hostname - This dork allows searching by domain name or hostname in a strict manner, i.e., only results will be shown that have exactly the keyword as the domain name.
- port - Search by port number in a strict manner.
- header - Allows searching by headers in a non-strict manner, i.e., results will be shown that contain the keyword in the header.
- status - This dork allows searching by page status.
If no dork is specified, matches will be searched for in the hostname, title, and headers.
About indexing and content removal
Our crawler automatically obtains new hosts across the Tor network. Although we are aware that some links may be offensive or hurt the sensitivity of some individuals, we do not remove any content because Observer is a tool for security researchers, and banning any host would negate the utility of the tool itself.
Observer is not intended to be an engine for navigating the dark web, but rather an open analysis tool that centralizes information from a large portion of the public hosts on the Tor network.
If you don't want your host to be scanned and indexed, simply don't make it public.
If you find hosts with immoral content (such as child abuse, weapons, violence, rape...), please report it in our contact section. We will censor the title and domain so that the service is unreachable unless the user previously knows the full hostname.
