Anonymity is sacred and so its expensive. Microsoft Azure is cheap but not anonymous. Sporestack wants you to deposit $250 for a long term, and you can use their $5 VPS for 50 months. That's almost 4 years. Its a good deal and deters abusive users.

No. A VPS is a linux server with SSH and most of the time VNC access. There's usually nothing preinstalled, unless you ask for it. But "website builders" produce html code, which you can just copy to your server.

Linode is good in terms of pricing that is very affordable but it is anti Tor and when I try to access its login page from Tails, I get :

Akamai Linode is cheap but they use Cloudflare and have enabled DDOS protection to reject Tor Exit Nodes on their login page. However, this does not affect me to login into my cloud computer via ssh from my Tails box.
