Sometimes we take our lives for granted, and don't think about how fragile we are in the wider world, mates. Take for example, running water. Amazing how so much of the Western world turns on a tap and water flows without us giving a second thought. Other examples include electrical power and Internet access. So often we take such things as a given in our lives.

I've relearned to be thankful again during this past week of too much time to think, and too little access to some of the things we sometimes take for granted in our lives. Imagine how life would be without a petrol station on the local corner, or a supermarket brimming with foodstuffs and consumer goods. Just more to be thankful for in this world we've built than I remembered. I hope I won't make the mistake of forgetting again.

Meantime, my Messages and mod mail are brimming. Have a limited time for Internet access for now, but am hoping to be back full-time soon enough. Wishing everyone well on dread, and reminding us all to be thankful for all the good things we have.
