OpSec on Windows : OpSec | Torhoo darknet markets

About to get a new windows laptop that i will be using for school and work. I will be using tails on usb and whonix as vm with the same keepass database.

how can i stay safe on whonix? How can i disbale windows recall before it even launches/gets released

How can i save my database online as an encypted file? I will change the file type or hide it with veracrypt as an image, but how can i make sure it is online somewhere in case i dont have the usb but have access to tails somewhere? (my persistence storage isnt as important as my password, so i want access to the password at all times.)

How safe is hidden vm on tails? I want to be on tails but be able to use a windows vm

(not for this /d/ buty any tips on wifi hacking for an absolute beginner?)

Just use Qubes or switch to Linux and run Whonix on there.

Assume anything ran inside windows is monitored and compromised..

You need to compartmentalize, both with your physical hardware and habits. Do not do "day to day" stuff on a machine thats intent is privacy.

Don't use Tails, use qubes.

Why no Tails?
Think of Tails like a disposable phone you use it once, then delete it.

If you're on an unknown computer, Tails is useful, but for a main OS, Qubes OS is the way to go since it’s designed specifically for that purpose.

Would it be risky to run Qubes on a VM? Or should be a real installed OS in my machine? (in case of use through VM, which is the best / safest VM software to use?) Thx
Qubes isn’t meant to be run as a VM.
It's extremely basic. It's a good starter OS. I rarely use Tails anymore.

Ill learn about it...what downsides would a lifelong windows user experience?
Don't run Whonix in a Windows VM and do anything sus
Shrink the partition and install a reliable/secure Linux distro on the extra space and put Whonix on that
Or install Linux on a USB (Requires a boot and and install USB) and put Whonix on that

But I personally would not use Whonix on Windows.

Yeah, i really dont prefer windows since learning about opsec. Im going to have linux as my main OS and have windows as a vm(i still want to game but linux is limited, still not sure if a windows VM will allow me to do the same)
No it will not, that's why I recommend dual boot.
No OpSec on Windows. Period.
