OPSEC whilst refunding : Refunds | Torhoo darknet markets

So as you might know refunding IS illegal. Whilst many people don't feel the needs to have good opsec when refunding, i wouldn't like to be answering the door to any copper.

I have refunded things in the past with my personal credentials but now i want to start refunding on a larger scale, i would like to move away from this. I have a few questions for the more experienced folk on this sub i.e https://torhoo.cc/go.php?u=TDNVdlNIVnRZVzVRYVdVPQ==# https://torhoo.cc/go.php?u=TDNVdmMyVnlhVzkxYzBFPQ==# . I think that lots of newcomers will benefit from all your experience and will take action to your replies.

Few starting questions

> Should we be using a vpn/proxy?
> Are rdp/vm necessary?
> Should we use drops/reships?
> Do you recommend any setups for refunding?

Your detailed replies will be much appreciated amongst the newcomers. A good start would be a setup guide this would be largely praised.
Treat it as any other crime - with utmost seriousness.

Obfuscate your digital fingerprint - torrify your connection wherever possible and use disposable devices. Separate yourself physically as well - find a drop with an instructed drop operator. He takes a cut but handles all the dirty work.

If you're into a larger scale think about a proper setup. As an example of a secure one, run Qubes/Tails and connect to a VPS with sufficient RAM via Tor. Then run a hypervisor an virtualize an anti-detect browser. Plug in your permanent proxy and work from there.

I messaged you regarding something you said here.

Same thing to https://torhoo.cc/go.php?u=TDNVdmMyVnlhVzkxYzBFPQ==#
Refunding is treated as serious fraud right now and people are being charged with mail and wire fraud, identity theft and theft of larceny, meaning serious jail time.
Of course if you planning of doing few refunds to your address it can't be that serious but if you wanna upscale this shit and make good money out of it you should be very careful.
With that being said opsec should be as tight as any other fraud doing, there are lots of information about that so I wont get into details.
Drops and reships should be used, also no personal cc's.

Should we be using a vpn/proxy?

Never use VPN's for refunding. Proxies are optional.

Most people are using their real home IP address, under their real name.

Are rdp/vm necessary?

Nobody in refunding uses these. Ever.

Do you recommend any setups for refunding?

There are no "refund setups" for the average refunder, you just use your normal computer.

"OPSEC" in refunding literally amounts to using a fake name so your credit isn't ruined by the collections agencies sending you bills in the mail.
