I was trying to find a delicate way to ask this question myself. On one hand, i received from one vendor, but they didnt get paid. The other vendor did not send it out, and the xmr is stuck in escrow limbow. So what's the preoper ettiquette here? I'd love for my vendor who shipped to get paid, but I also want my other package that I lost out on, but don't think the vendor is responsible either. Do we just chock it up to the game and dust off? Do vendors ship and hope the customer returns?

i also had a great vendor who shipped my stuff, but the cash was in escrow. went to release it and site doesnt load. its unfortunate, i reached out to the vendor but unfortunately theres nothing anyone can do. its hard to put any responsibility on the vendor. is the vendor a badass customer service guy who sends it anyway? i'm sure those exist, but dont be surprised if you lose the cash and get nothing for it.

this is why its recommended to only ever have money in a market that you plan on spending immediately, otherwise hold onto it in your personal wallet.

also, when you find a good vendor and everything is going well between you two, reach out and see if theres a more direct way to interact. if they are good to you consider always doing FE. it sucks but it is the way of this game

I think this depends on the vendor. Ive seen people still shipping at least 50% of the order even tho they did not get the money from the escrow. Such vendors want to continue with their job and want loyal customers. But many will say i didnt get paid, you dont get your product. And i get it, because at the end of the day most of the times vendors take a bigger loss than buyers. So yeah depends a lot on the situation imo

dude, only a moron vendor would knowingly ship your order if it's large, if they absolutely know they will never finalize the escrow

If it was me personally as a vendor, I would send you a complimentary gram on the house to pay my condolences that the market took off with your escrow payment. write it off as a "free sample"
for customer service. Unless you had already FE maybe then sure, I'd have immediately withdrew it and shipped it out.

You gotta understand, vendors have hundreds of orders in escrow sometimes, so when a market exits, they potentially lose tens of thousands of dollars of orders they had already shipped before the exit, that hadn't been FE'd.... They're not gonna give away free product if they haven't shipped it yet. in fact if they exit, odds are they can't even login and decrypt your address anyway, even if they were feeling generous.

All I'm gonna say is be weary of the sockpuppets and any vendor that supposedly gives away more of his product immediately after eating being forced to eat a HUGE loss lmao.. like imagine losing hundreds of times what you ordere... that's what they're dealing with, and you really think they're gonna be in any position to be giving out their product knowing they're not getting paid?
