TLDR: Ran out of product, decided to go with someone else for half a kilo because we couldn't get in touch with our original plug. The worker did not notify until afterwards that there seemed to be something off with the half kilo. Note: Our original plug never had a problem 10+ years and will never have any problems so there is nothing to worry about from here on out.

Also we will be sending out the same batch for testings by vetted members of the Dread community. We apologize for the wait but we take this very seriously so if we have someone on our end who is messing with our work we want to be 100% sure before we come to a verdict. EDIT: To those who have problems with their coke please create a support ticket on the market where you purchased your coke and we will take care of you. We used a different plug than usual to cover half a kilo to fulfill orders but we will not be going back to this plug again. We apologize for the mistake and will fully reimburse you.

There is a smell complaint that has come in from a certain batch which was dispatched (July 1 - July 2) which was tested to pull 97% purity. Please don't be alarmed, it is safe to consume.
*The smell of the work comes from many different reasons like different TransPortation methods which was the case that batch.

Just a strong odor of nail polish remover vs dry acetone. It served its purpose fine, my gf just noted a stronger, more nail polish odor. It worked great for me!

Did it mess with your allergies at all?

The batch I had (7/7) had a bit of a smell but not in a negative way. Honestly it smelled great, looked nice, and was super oily on the fingers, but it left me sneezing and congested as if allergy season had just started.

(I think it's something that is kinda normal with some bricks, it isn't the first batch like this that I've seemed a bit allergic to, and I've had similar experiences from almost every vendor I've used at one point at least)

Would love to figure out what causes that though

The one-time source product should have been gone by then. /u/snowbunni can correct me if I am wrong on this.

We are back to our normal bricks that we have been getting for 10+ years. This should have only affected a very minimal number of people, as it wasn't even a full brick.

We first received complaints of the smell of this particular source, then a few others who we trust in the community reached out with concerns. /u/snowbunni did a deep dive into the situation to verify, and now we are at the part of making sure those customers are made whole.

We have a list of the customers who were affected, but just in case we asked others to speak up if they felt like they were part of those orders, which will also be verified.

Just to give you some peace of mind the test results you showed differed from what i saw regarding this batch.

EDIT Yeah I definitely had a different batch, mine was 7/7. Potency was 🔥, my body just decided that it should treat this batch of coke like tree pollen

I don't think I had this batch, I didn't have any issues with the smell, however the batch I received did have a minor issue.

After the first bump my allergies decided to kick into overdrive, sneezing fits, congestion, runny nose etc. This isn't the first time I've had this reaction (nor are you the only vendor who I have noticed this from) so I don't believe it is an issue with the product itself, but with the methods used when processing batches similar to this one. The potency was just fine, but I worry that more of the coke ended up in tissues than my system.

It may be something to watch for, but every brick varies a bit, so I don't think it was anything that could have been prevented anyways. But just wanted to be sure it was mentioned. The previous 2 orders were flawless, so I am pretty confident this one was just a fluke that wasn't caught, or didn't cause the same allergic flare ups for other people

If you have a sensitive nose we may suggest something like nasal sprays some of the other vendors on here have! Have you tried washed coke? Curious to know how washed coke effects your nose.

Most times I don't have an issue, it's just a batch here or there. There is a slight smell/after aroma that I can't really place but I seem to associate with it.

I haven't tried washed coke much, I will have to look into it more.

I do use/make nasal sprays. It didn't help much with this batch, but it isn't like it was ruining the experience, more a minor irritation
