Any advice for when this happens?

I ordered 7g of weed from a vendor on TorZon which arrived repacked in an 'our sincere apologies' bag. The package had already been opened and was empty. The inside clearly smell of weed which makes me think the sellers stealth isn't up to much and the package was stolen by a sorting-office stoner.

Any advice re when this happens? Is it ill-advised to ask for a reship from the same person? Straight to a dispute and ask for the escrow back? Do I accept the hit and just leave a negative review?

1. You got scammed by the vendor.

2. Someone at the warehouse or the postman noticed the smell and thought "yay free weed lol" who are you going to report it to the cops?

3. They reported it to the cops and it got seized, you might get a letter in a few days about it. Since it's only weed they don't care that much about it.

I mean the smell of the envelope might suggest it isn't a scam though whats to stop them rubbing a bud around side it to try and throw me off and think exactly that.

I've sent them a message letting them know and asked what they want to do about it.

Wondering if I'm good to order more - not from the same person of course. I presume it has just been caught by a sorting office employee and that it likely won't happen again with good stealth.

Just buy the cheapest weed you can find and see what happens. Worst case it gets seized again, then you will have to find a vendor that is willing to use another service to send it.

Yeah I'll go to somebody I know has good stealth and try that with a smaller amount.

Money is on the seller using those gripseal smellproofs... smellproof for a couple hours at best... rather than buying a simple vacuum & sealer.

Ask for a reship, if you're a loyal long standing customer im sure theyll be happy to compensate. these things happen sometimes and its unfortunate, ask for a double/triple vaccum with double envelope to ensure stealth

Sadly it's my first order on this market and also with this seller in fact though I'm only about their 50th order. Seems to be a very new vendor with their just 1 month old PGP key so they are still unproven.

They've asked me what I'd like doing so I'll mention it. I'm just concerned it could happen again.

try to avoid new vendors. I try to go with well estbalished ones. Also look up thier name on dread to see what others might have said about them. Also does not hurt to message the vendor b4 ordering to get an indea of thier stealth. ofc just don't ask dumb specific questions about the stealth that gives stuff away.

In terms of your recent order it sounds like a RM worker has taken it tbh

Hopefully somebody in a sorting office their end. I certainly don't want the local postie or sorting staff onto the fact that there's nice weed in my mail effectively ruining the address.

They have asked what I'd like to do in all fairness. I think I'm going to just tell them that I feel there may have been a problem with the stealth and ask them if they are happy to reship it.

I was going to order from madmax but with aba being down/out... they're not on TorZon and DH seems more expensive, so I thought I'd give this guy a shot.

When this happened to me many years ago...all mail to that address started going missing, and I had to use a different address for years. The postmen were stealing it, I caught them one time.

Hope that isn't the case. I'm hoping that it went missing on the other end of the postal system. It does leave me somewhat anxious for future orders - I was going to get a larger amount of hash but I'm certainly reluctant now.

They have agreed to a 50% reship so lets see. Also confirmed they double-vacuum so there should be no smell, but there certainly was one.

I've only recently gotten back into using the DNM's too after getting sick of street weed. The first 4 orders were great then this... I really hope the address isn't toast. Fuck knows where else I'd send it other than a PO box.

I was using my work address back when that happened. The post would all be piled on the reception desk at around 10am every morning, I'd come into the building and my drugs would be waiting for me. Risky but I had some reliable vendors who used good stealth. Another option is parents' house, if you can. Some use a friend's house but that relies on your friend being ok with it, was not an option for me.

Anyway I hope your address isn't burnt forever but it's possible.

Brother your weed wasn't stolen in a sorting office, do you know how many cameras are in sorting offices? Plus there are theft detection workers amongst the staff who dress like and act like normal staff, but their job is to find and report thieves in sorting offices and delivery depots.

It sounds more like you were scammed, or Royal Mail seized and reported it, but the fact it made it to it's final destination points more towards a scam to me

Many possibilities mate, as much automation as they have, I understand there is still a lot of manual handling of mail.

For royal mail/police to open or delay a parcel I believe they may need a warrant. There are laws dictating this must never happen. If it was a 'bust' then I think the entire parcel would have been passed onto police.

My money is on a rogue employee. Hopefully the person who colleced from a postbox miles away, but I'll never know for certain the specifics.
