PGP decrypted to another person's drop : GnuPG | Torhoo darknet markets

Messaged a new vendor about a product he has listed yesterday, he responded to me this morning saying my PGP decrypted to another user's drop which has me a bit confused as to what he is saying.

At first, I thought maybe he was a vendor I dealt with in the past but after I thought about it, he wasn't previously in my contacts. So how could my pgp decrypt to another user's address or what would the explanation be?

The only thing I can think of that makes sense would be he's a vendor I've dealt with in the past who changed his name and still had my key.

Here's the convo

He could have vended under a different brand and you may have ordered from him in the past.
And he keeps a database of previous addys he's shipped to and cross references all of his current orders with it ?
Whatever it is it is shady as fuck.

That's what i was thinking but i didn't send them my address. I just asked about shipping & cutoff times. Their response to my question was "Hi, not sure what happened but this deciphered to another users drop"

I guess it's just sketchy as fuck like you said. Here's the convo

He could have pasted and decrypted another users pgp encrypted addy and mistook it for your message.
Fuck if I know.
But I deffo would be using another vendor just for the peace of mind.

So hes keeping track of not only yours but other users drops? That some shady shit first off, and second how could your pgp decrypt to another buyers address? Maybe buddy is just geekin off his own supply and cant remember which PGP message goes to which user. Either the case, always buy from more trusted/experienced vendors to prevent things like this.

Yeah, i guess that's what im trying to figure out. Is he a past vendor I've dealt with who saved my contact info + address? I added a screenshot so others can give their interpretation of what they think it means

The wording from the vendor isn't straight and clear. Continue conversation with him.

To extend what he wrote: "You encrypted the message using my Public Key. I was able to decrypt the message. And when I saw the address it matched that of another user."

Does that help? So continue conversation with him because writing, "are you saying that when you decrypted the message, you discovered that another user and I had the same drop location?"

Question for you: did you use your own address or an address that is not your own, which theoretically would be someone else's?

That's the thing. I never gave him my address. I only asked about shipping and cut off times and that was his response. I thought maybe he got the keys mixed up with someone else but he couldn't have because he was able to message me unless he mixed my conversation up with someone else's

Don't worry about what he wrote.

Be polite. Write, "To clear any confusion, I am re-sending you my valid address, I have doubled-checked it."

Make sure you send it encrypted.

Then, encrypted it again. Not a double encryption. But a new encryption.

One more theoretical translation based on what you wrote:

"A customer ordered from me and lives at your address."
