I have been 'mining pi' since its launch. There is no mining as such, its just click an in-app button once every 24 hours.
Its nothing revolutionary but it has an advantage that it KYCs the wallet owners which traditional finance and govts love.

Its certainly not a rugpull or get rich quick. i clicked that button for years and I got about $3k so far for my 'effort'.

Fake shit, data gathering, spyware, bloat ware you opted in for. That's what Pi is.
I know personally a handful of very smart people that still are operating that app lol, with fingers crossed that maybe one day it will go live.
Crazy shit that has been going on for years now.
The way i see it, if the crypto in question has absolutely no current live application, than it is most def a shit coin.

Been watching it since the first year it came out. Like i said, I have a handful of idiot savants that claim they are going to be rich.
On a side note, I noticed changenow has an option to swap for Pi coins.
I may just have to call these idiot savants and see if we can trade them for XMR. Which is what they are always begging me to do, buy it from them.
I am FOMO proof.

You tried it? I have a buddy trying today. They were shocked to hear that there was any exchange even showing the Pi option. Changenow has it. I'm not converting precious monerujo nor satoshi's to see if it works. Of course someone would trade that shit~coin to someone else anywhere possible.
The real question remains, is it easy to get rid of the Pi coins? What if there are no offers the other way? Sort of like it were an option on Bisq network?
